Stayed there for 2 nights and it was nice. The Hostel is a bit out of the City but easy to get there with train (15minute walk) and the bus just around the corner from the Hostel. The common area was super nice, they have a fridge and little kitchen. The Restaurant downstairs offers great food for good prices and the pancakes for breakfast were perfect! I would stay again if I come back to Singapore!

Nice living-room style room for meeting ppl and the staff in the reception. Showers and toilets are so so, clean but lacking in number and standard. Beds (except 2 fold-able sofas in the 6 person dorm) are comfortable and clean. Good place for the money overall. But the 2 brown beds needs changing, Sleeping directly on the floor was better than in one of those piles of wood and metal springs :D

Fantastic place and staff really knowledgeable, forthcoming with information and they definitely know backpackers! One thing for the future would be to print out a map of the city with the places where the no 33 bus stops as I seemed to spend forever on my first day trying to work out how to get back to the hostel! They have FREE tea and COFFEE, a little kitchen you can use, vouchers worth $3.90 you can get a breakfast with. amazing staff they make the place!

I have had some wonderful days and I loved talking with other guest and the staff until early in the morning! The female doorm is perfect when you want to sleep in silence without somebody who is snoring... The only thing, there is no real citchen where you can cook! Ther is just a microwave and all day long hot walter for tea or instant soups and noodles. But you can buy food everywhere in the street! -It's definately a great place to stay!

This is a great place to stay, they have everything you'd expect of a hostel and a few extras e.g. bike rental and super friendly staff. The Joo Chiat area is a great little neighbourhood for food and the beach is a 15 min walk. Bus to the city is fairly easy too, just make sure you carry plenty of coins as the drivers cant give you change.

Facilities were fine, what you would expect for the price. The dorms, bathrooms and locker area were basic but clean. The lounge being open and staff available 24hrs was great. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is good, although its not central its close to the airport and public transport links, loads of places to eat and drink nearby also. Could be a bit noisy at night with the untold Vietnamese karaoke bars lining the road but these closed reasonably early before 12.

An OK location but it's a bit far from the nearest MRT station. Great security though.

The Hostel was excellent value for money, two second walk away from the bus into the city. Staff extremely welcoming and very helpful and knowledgeable when we asked them to help plan our day. Hostel highly recommended. Free breakfast aswell! if you don't use your breakfast token then it can be put towards lunch or dinner in the bistro below.

I came to Hosel in night time, the girl in frontdesk Niky was very kind. The bathroom is the most horrible thing i have seen in my life, you really can not to have privacity for take a shower, there 2 bathrooms for a lot of people, and is not clean. In their web site they said that internet and breakfast is free but is a lie, they give you a discount for food in their restaurant and for internet you have 30 fake minutes because if you want use only 10 minutes and the rest later you wont can.
