Make no mistake: BoA is not a fun, party hostel type of place. It doesn't even have the family vibe that some hostels do. It's truly a guesthouse, serving travels of all kinds and all ages. With that said, it's very comfortable and clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Great place to stay. Very friendly and helpful staff and clean facilities. They even have free international calling. Less than 5 min walk from Hongik University Station exit #4.

BoA was a good choice! It was cozy, quiet, convenient location, the beds were comfortable, the staff were kind and even helped us book a tour. The kitchen/common area was really nice, a lot of effort had been put into making it unique. I'd definitely stay again. My only complaint would be that the pillows were way too thick, and that our shower drain in the private room was clogged so the shower flooded quickly. I would suggest having a binder or homemade map of staff-recommended local spots!

Have bed bugs on my bed during my 1st night of stay, but was clean after the 1st night after my feedback.

there is virtually nothing to complain, with this price you can have a hotel-like stay. Single rooms include private toilet! one thing is the private fridge, it's good to have it, but had to unplug it at night because it was a bit noisy especially in the quiet night =p

Excellent location - very central to tourist sites, close to the metro station. Wifi throughout worked well. Free breakfast is basic, but hey, it's free and we mostly ate at the great little bakery on the corner instead - it's different and cheap enough to do so. Staff were super lovely and helpful.

Honestly I can say only good things about Boa Guesthouse! It's very clean and very well situated. The staff is very friendly and helpful especially the 2 sisters (daughters of the owner) on the reception! They are really kind and they gave me a very warm Welcome! They have also lots of knowledge about the highlights of Seoul and they gave me lots of useful advises! The bed was very comfortable and for sure one of the best one I slept in lately! The entire team of Boa Guesthouse is really great!

Stayed for two weeks. The staff was very friendly and enthusiastic to help. Sometimes communicating in English is somewhat of a challenge but that is off-set by a commendable desire to help and they are more than happy to help you out in case you have a problem. The rooms (single) are clean and have all you need. I am quiet tall >1.90m but the beds were of a better size in BOA than in some places I've stayed in Europe. The breakfast selection is simple but good, yet monotonous if you stay long.

This was my first time in Seoul and I had a fantastic time at Boa Guesthouse! Kim Boa and her sister as well as the other staff bent over backwards to help me find places to go and things to see. It is extremely clean and very close to the Hongdae metro stop, which means that you can basically hitch a ride to anywhere you like pretty quick. I struggle to think of anything bad about this place. I think the only thing is that this is definitely not a party HQ, and people tend to keep to themselves

Awesome awesome super clean. Felt like i was staying in an hotel. I recommend putting the couch in front of the TV to make more of a lounge and community spot for people to meet each other. But other than that great guesthouse

Thanks Boa Kim for giving us a great time in Seoul! Boa Guesthouse is a very new, clean, secure and convenient place to stay. It's just 5 mins walk from the subway and Hongdae main street. Impressing me most are the heating floor and the lovely dining room! Overall, it is the best hostel I have stayed in Seoul! I must come again next X'mas!
