There are two types of taxis- regular (ilban) and deluxe (mobeum). Backpackers will most likely want to take the regular taxis as they’re much more affordable. Nothing beats getting to an area and exploring it by foot, consider planning your days so that you can explore nearby districts by foot before heading back your hostel!
