Boho Hostel

Created by backpackers, Boho hostel is aimed at solo travellers and groups of up to six friends, in order to maintain its relaxed, laid-back atmosphere, where making new friends and doing things together is always easy.
Located ten minutes on foot from Balluta Bay in St Julians, Boho is the perfect base from where to explore the island, and a wonderful home to come back to.

• Paceville (Clubbing District)- 15 minutes

Whilst ticking all the hostel boxes- Inexpensive, Sociable, Communal- Boho is set in a beautifully-renovated Villa, which is what makes it so unique and what sets it apart from other hostels which are usually small and crammed. It being so spacious, in fact, is the reason it has often been defined as a mini 'resort' by travellers, who love Boho so much they tend to extend their stay.
So this is pretty much your place if you enjoy hostel life and hostel prices but want somewhere which is much more than 'basic' when you're visiting Malta.

Boho's dorms are bright and spacious, all overlooking the garden, some even with terraces. Since we value your comfort we don't cram our bedrooms, but instead prefer to limit each dorm to six guests. You also get a free locked for your valuables.

Want more privacy? Check out the private ensuite bedroom, with double bed, and a large window that overlooks a bed of red poppies and fruit trees.

Bathrooms are private and clean, and the kitchen is fully-equipped. The indoor lounge area is set up with free internet & WIFI, TV and DVD player, and a wealth of information on Malta.

Then there's the garden. This is Boho's main charm. And we won't go on and on about how absolutely large and wonderful it is, we'll just let you look at our pictures.

To ensure that you have a fantastic time in Malta, Boho's English-speaking staff will happily provide you with maps, information and tips on where to go. The Boho staff are BIG on adding that Maltese touch to your holiday, whether it's organizing a group night out for the ever-so-popular fenkata (rabbit feast), or simply suggesting a great spot to watch the sun set….and, being locals, we know where the good stuff really is!

We don't have 24hr reception so we don't accept bookings without an arrival time. Please let us know if you're going to arrive at a different time than indicated when you booked so we can make sure to be there, and of course please get in touch if you're going to be more than one hour late, so we won't give away your bed.

Even though highly sociable and a fantastic place to meet and interact with other travellers Boho is not a wild-party hostel and we ask that you respect the quiet neighbourhood at all times. You can only book your stay if you're over 18 years old, and if your idea of a holiday isn't doing shooters in the hostel's common areas at 2am. In simpler terms, Boho prefers lightweights over heavy drinkers, hippies over holiday-makers, wine over whisky and backpackers over party-goers.
We value a good night sleep & an early start, to make the most of our days.

Check In Time: 10am until 11pm at the hostel and not landing time at airport. Unfortunately, if a booking is affected with a later check in time, it won't be honoured.
