PRO> Very easy to get to Terminal 2. The Wifi is great in the rooms! Another nice feature here is they give you a towel. Nice staff; one of them even gave me a ride into town so I wouldn't have to walk to the bus. There's also lots of room to hang clothes to dry. CON> The beach nearby looks fantastic but there's a line of raw sewage pouring right into the ocean there so it sure doesn't smell fantastic. The kitchen floor and bathtub are pretty old and dirty, but still tolerable.

a Few minutes walk from the airport and easy to find! Really good location for before/after flight. Staff are really involved and helpful. Nice rooms/bathrooms. Everything is shared, but clean and comfy! It's out of the city, but it's easy enough to travel in if you want! The beach ain't great, but not bad either! They run many trips you could do and we felt it was good value for money!

Not the best but not the worst. Reminded me of an empty college fraternity (maybe we just visited when not many people were touring around the area).

Really loved that place, stay there for 5 days. Really convenient if you want to spend you time near the beach and not in the city. The staff helped me a lot, they are really friendly. It's the perfect place to chill out! Will go back there next time for sure.

A great value basic hostel close to the airport (10min walk) and the beach (even closer). Staff really friendly, a good place to stop on arrival or before catching a flight out of Sabah.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is close to the airport, but it takes a bit to get into the city center (a walk and a short bus ride) but this is easily manageable. It's is also only a 5 minute walk to the beach though, so it really depends on your priorities. The place is nothing fancy, but is well kept. Overall my experience with this hostel was great, and we actually stayed here a few times throughout our stay as we were in and out of KK a few times.

To me, the best feature of Borneo BeacHouse is its location near the airport, about 15-minute walk. But its quite far from downtown KK and you need to walk again (about 10 minutes) to reach the bus stop. Also, the desktop computer is not working when I was there.

It's a very convenient place when you have to be at the airport the next day, because it's only a 10 minute walk (Air Asia terminal). If you can choose, choose the dorms in the main building, they're nicer. Staff's great and relaxed!

The hostel in itself was good in terms of facilities. While the staff was friendly and generally helpful, they did lack in a few respects, mainly following through: responding to emails before arrival and then not being available to check out early in the morning despite being told they would be. The good thing about the hostel is its close proximity to the airport. However next time I think I'll choose a different place to stay.

BB was easy find, close to the airport. beach and park... staff were nice(ricky&mick), wifi connection in the rooms was good at the main building and non at the 2nd building when we transferd so we have to go to the lobby for internet. we were able to our laundry that one i like, they offer laundry service per kg tho.. i would stay there again.

Receptionist kept forgetting who we were and did not give us any proof of receipt that left us in a difficult position when getting the deposit back.
