its a great place to stay, the staff are very friendly and helpful. the lodge is very well mantained, and its a strategic location on Sundays for the Gaya street Market. Many Restaurants are just a few minutes away. I enjoyed my stay.

A very clean and quiet hostel in a great location. We stayed in a double room for 4 nights which was very clean and comfortable. Air con , sheets are towels are included. Separate shower/toilet for male/female are very clean. Free wifi, breakfast and tea/coffee/water definitely sweeten the deal. Security is great (perhaps OTT). Staff weren\'t overly friendly, but I think they weren\'t very confident speaking English. Would definitely recommend, esp. if you are after somewhere quiet!

The lodge did not accept USD payment as we prepared the USD beforehand, bit disapointing. The location is very good, easy access to Jesselton point, restaurant, bar and tourism info center. And walkable distance to central point. The staff there are generally helpful, but they are not very familiar with some attractions, like city mosque. The toilet and bathroom are small-sized, but are clean. The atmosphere there is so so may due to the different time schedule. But it's ok for the price.

I pick up the hostel to get close to Wisma Merdeka and Wisma Sabah. This is my first visit to hostel that need to go upstairs for my room. But its security is excellent, with CCTV also. I rent a motorcycle and put in open garage below the stairs for one night without any problem. But I can not get good information on how to explore or go around Sabah from the staff.
