Novice Nomad (2)

New hostel-wouldn't recommend it. Atmosphere is dull-may improve over next 6 months. GOOD:Clean beds, working air conditioning, may have Sipadan openings for late bookings BAD:Front desk staff not welcoming and could not provide basic information about Semporna (restaurants, buses, things to do). They are more concerned with their cell phones. They should be organizing activities for guests particularly at night (pub crawls, movie nights, etc), shuttles to Tawau, and day trips (eg beach day)
