Great hostel, great staff, close to the Roma st. train station, and full of pretty girls. The bar and restaurant were also top notch. The wifi was also pretty reliable...and FREE! I prefer to punish hostels that don't have free wifi by refusing to stay with them.

Definitely good for young people however I was put in awkward situation at check in! FYI - I've stayed in over 100 hostels but I'm now 32. A normal looking bloke with good social skills. I was told I could not stay in dorm because I didn't have a full sized backpack (read between lines - you are too old or not quite 'surf' enough for this hostel) it was quite embarrassing. Not cool folks on front desk!! If you're 30+ stay elsewhere. Plenty of other hostels close by without the attitude :)

Nice staff but hostel had a lot of workers in it - not enough to seperate them from the backpackers. Free wifi so people spent time talking to their virtual friends rather than making new ones. Bar was ok but a little downtrodden and smelt. Also, have to rent cutlery and plates, which other roomates tend to take, so watch out!

The hostel was in a good location and very easy to find. The bathrooms are shared and the common areas are very small for the amount of people staying.

overall it's a nice hostel. they have secure place to put precious things, fridges to store food and a big kitchen to cook. but the hostel is quite crowded. also the laundry is far. for a 6-bed ensuite, the bathroom and the toilet are not inside but outside to be shared by people in other rooms. also the bathroom and the toilet doesn't differ gender, so men and women share the same bathroom and toilet. that's the part i don't like. but overall, the hostel is nice and clean

This place is amazing! By far the best hostel I've stayed at on my travels. The second I walked in I felt immediately welcome, and they gave me an upgrade for the room I went in to, without me even asking! All of the facilities were SO clean, everything from the bathrooms to the floors to the kitchen are all cleaned twice a day! The music they play is tons of fun, and since there's a bar in the hostel, it really promotes people to socialize and meet new friends. So great all around :)

This hostel was much worse than expected. It seems okay but the staff are not nice or helpful at all and the atmosphere is pretty horrendous. The bar closes so early and when I was there, it closed over an hour earlier than the listed closing time for no apparent reason. The kitchen is pretty small with minimal utensils and I had food stolen while there. Staff didn't seem to care. The one good thing is the location. Southbank is a cool area.

was very happy with this hostel!! i arrived very early so my room wasn't ready yet. staff allowed me to use the tv room with comfy couches to sleep on while i was waiting. just after settling down, someone came into the room and closed the blinds and shut the door so i could sleep better, how lovely!!! :-) there was a small mix up on my room but staff sorted it out straight away and upgraded my room and apologised so i was happy! great location, friendly staff, highly recommend this hostel! :-)

My worst experience in over 100 hostels around the world.Facilities are exaggerated incl free stuffs/breakfast.Misleading.Kitchen is dirty&stinky, open to common area which makes it very uncomfortable & crowded esp. on bad weathers.Communal areas are small compared to no.of people.Tons of rules on the walls, but no practicality(still noisy until 2-3 am).Receptionists were very unfriendly & stereotyped.People without heart and mind makes things worst.I DO NOT recommend any body for peace of mind.

Rooms are smelling really bad, plastic pillows and thin old mattresses. Huge house with lots of facilities. Didn't like the atmosphere. Stayed only one night for travelling to Sydney cause its very close to the central railway station. But, . definitely not my type of hostel.

The staff at reception were very helpful. Unfortunately, it was raining a great deal when we were there and it was very congested in the dining room area and wifi area as no one could use the exterior space that was available. Laptop users and individuals needing to sit down and eat were competing for the available seats and there was not enough room. Wifi is free but only works in a small area and that helped to produce the congestion. It was better when weather improved and we could go outside
