Really nice hostel, good size pool and kitchen, rooms clean with air con. Good location. Tv room, activities put on by hostel. Wifi isnt free - but reasonable price. Kitchen pots are old and cheap - no plastic handles so can burn urself cooking. Staff helpful and open 24 hrs. Luggage storage not free but ok price. Quiet at nighttime and souble glazing. Would stay again.
It's a little bit far away from town and no shuttles run. There were other hostels in better locations that were cheaper and of the same standard. Rooms were clean and tidy but my bed had an air conditioner unit right above my head so had a bit of chilly night (the other roomates wanted the ac on all night!). Not sure I would stay here again.
Very clean and comfortable hostel. I found this hostel a bit far from the central Brisbane attractions although it is close to the greyhound bus stop. I was in a very quiet room and didn't find it quite as easy to meet people here as other hostels I've been in.
Only downside is the very loud and not very comfy camp beds.
Wasn't there long, but it was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful!
This hostel is clean, but too big and without atmosphere. If you just want a nice bed and clean space, it's perfect.
One of the biggest hostels we've been so far. The staff was very impersonal. Great facilities like a rooftop swimming pool!
Super friendly staff and a great hostel with a great vibe. Lots of social events in the evening so perfect for solo travellers looking to meet people, as I always felt welcome. Comfy beds and good sized rooms, with decent bathrooms also. Location a bit annoying as about 15mins to walk to the city, which feels longer than it should. Free WiFi in common areas. Only one plug socket in the room, so should maybe have adapters so multiple gadgets can be charged? Nonetheless, overall fantastic stay!
Good: Good view from rooftop terrace, large kitchen with individual cupboards to store food, clean Bad: Lacked atmosphere
One of the best hostels I've stayed in. Keep it up! :D
Best Hostel we stayed at in Australia! and we stayed here twice. Clean, helpful staff, huge kitchen and great atmosphere. Didn't mind paying for wifi as it actually worked. Met some great peopl here and had some good nights out.
Bit of a walk but quite charming, with s really superb roof terrace. Large kitchen and decent rooms
Positive: Big kitchen and food storage space. Clean rooms and toilets. Negatives: The railway track next to right wing of the hostel is a bit irritating, though not too much. There is no bus stop near the hostel, which meant walking up and down for almost 2 km every time, even you are are tired at the end of the day. Free wifi only in hotspot
YHA are always good hostels but sometimes it is too big so it gets a bit anonymous but it's clean, nice rooms, good kitchen with a view over Brisbane and many different people
I stayed there for a week. One the challenge I faced was walking up and down from the nearest bus stop, which was around 2 km away.
A bit of a walk from the city center, but great facilities and helpful staff.
I only stayed for a night, but the staff were really friendly and helpful. It is the cleanest hostel I have stayed at and it had a friendly atmosphere with a mix of locals and travellers.

Only stayed there one night, but really liked the hostel! The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The hostel is modern and is obviously maintained well. With your bags it is a bit of a trek from the transit centre on Roma Street, but it is still very doable!
