Excellent run hostel. Exceptionally clean. My one complaint is that the showers have very low pressure. Location is ok, about 10 mins from the coach station and 20 mins from the city centre. Would recommend.

A bit to big to be fun even if the staff really tried to bring people together. But it was clean and safe.

Lovely and clean. Quite lively in the corridors at night however. Great views from the rooftop pool at sunset.

The airco was defective, took a while to get it solved. The couches at the tv room are really old.

Not the friendliest staff, one is among many others, our room was not ready (although check in time was long passed) just metal beds and locker in the room, clean, but also "clean" atmosphere internet expensive

Very beautiful new hostel, nice rooms, great bathrooms, definitely more luxury than we expect from a hostel! The restaurant was very good too.

we stayed in a double room with an ensuite, the room was clean but had no character at all it was like staying in a prison cell or hospital. i was asked what time i wanted to check in and i responded 10 am, we didnt arrive until around 12 and still couldnt check in until 2pm, like we were staying at a hotel. i have travelled alot in this country and over seas and in my experience hostels are a mostly warm casual environment which this hostel wasnt,i it was very sterile and lifeless

the location like other hostels a little bit outside the city. But it is possible to go by foot. Great view from the top to the city. Friendly stuff. Big kitchen for self foof preparing.

Your staff at the fron desk were fantastic. They we friendly, polite and very helpful in a classic down to earth Aussie style. The Cafe was also very good and the food very reasonably priced and excellent.

This was the 2nd time I had ever stayed in a hostel. I was very suprised, as my first experience at a different hostel was bad. IThe Brisbane YHA was super clean, fun, friendly, and had a great atmosphere! I was really impressed! I would definintely stay there again..and will be early next year when I plan to return to Brisbane. was wanting a clean and well run hostel. I met some great new friends at the YHA. was in Brisbane for a 5 day course so it was important I had a nice place to stay.

Great! Lots of really nice different common areas & a nice clean pool with view over the river and the city! Key card access to everywhere, safe. Stayed 2 times, once in dorm, once in twin room. Most clean everywhere except in our twin room. Fun and friendly. Very big plus for the day passes, as we came early but could be by the pool till our room was ready! Small bar/restaurant w/ good price breakfast. The ONLY complaint is the showers at 3rd floor, no pressure. Tried other floors, not as bad.

Newly built; card entry room access, lockers, bathrooms and kitchen best I've seen anywhere. One member of staff (female, curly hair) was really offhand with guests, throwing her weight around, others (Mitch and Kenda) were nice and helpful, Cassie in Drifters was cool, sweet and responded to people who made an effort to treat her as a person. The place was full of kids who don't talk, share, party and have no idea how to make it into something memorable, I was so bored, only go if you're a kid

By far the absolute CLEANEST hostel that I've stayed in in all of Australia. Fantastic rooftop terrace. Have been back three times since my initial booking. Seriously a home away from home!
