Welcoming and friendly staff, good location. Clean, decent kitchen and great place to meet people. One of the better hostels i have stayed at in Central America.

It was great to stay there. The Hostel was excellent, with a great staff and fresh breakfast. It's only 5 minutes to the centre and everything else you could need is in walking distance too.

The hostel is nice if lacking a bit of character. The staff was amiable and helpful and the breakfast was great! However, I think the private room was a bit pricey for what it was.

I stayed in Oaxaca for a week to do Spanish classes and although this hostel was a long way from my school, it is very close to the bars and restaurants and a great fresh food market. It's not a party hostel but the vibe is great and I met some really cool people. I would definitely stay here again.

Really nice hostel, great roof terrace. Great breakfast, computers available and you can buy beer in reception. Hot and cold showers, friendly staff! Only negetive was that the hostel was pretty quiet when we stayed there!

A great place with a welcoming atmosphere. Some studied spanish while they stayed there which means they stayed for a longer time and therefore gave the hostel more of a home-feeling

Nice enough hostel but it felt very big and impersonal. 5 pesos to fill your water bottle isn't going to break the bank but can't people be trusted not to take more than their fair share of water? Roof deck closes at midnight which means the party moves downstairs bad news if you're trying to sleep nearby, also there are currently building works going on next door. Good hot showers excellent water pressure.

We booked three beds in a three bed dorm and all beds were separated into different room which was disappointing. The staff were sympathetic to the error and helped us find alternative accommodation to suit us for the following two nights. As we only stayed one night we didn't get a full sense of the hostel but it was quite clean, the staff were helpful and they offered a variety of tours/ transport options to Puerto escondido etc.

Owner Comment (Show)
If you book a shared dormitory room, unfortunately there is no guarantee that your whole group can be accommodated in the same room (especially during high season). If guests wish to ensure that they can stay in the same room, they need to book a private room.

Nice little hostel near the bar area. I would stay here again. I dont really have much to say which stood out as good or bad with this hostel for a change. You get what your expecting.
