About

Our Hostal makes it easy to base yourself in the city while you meet a wonderful network of travelers from every corner of the world who share a common love, adventure.

Located in the downtown's west side, its so easy to see Oaxaca happening all around you. With the hostel's location at just two blocks from a World Heritage architectural wonder and across the park to a traditional Oaxaqueño market, the experience of life in this little city becomes very palpable while staying with us.
Close by: a couple WIFI enabled coffee shops, small and inexpensive food vendors, physical activities like Boxing, Taw Kwan Do, Yoga and a Latin Rhythms studio, reliable drop off laundry services, traditional haircut parlors, super cheap 'colectivo' style taxi services that go to all the little pueblos around and last but certainly not least, the infamous Central de Abastos market, the biggest one in the state, home to enormous and varied sections of all things Oaxaca: clay pottery, textile goods, esoteric and holistic products, fish and seafood, Oaxacan breads, cheese, exotic fruits, flowers, Mezcal, coffee and chocolate.
And for the nigh time, being the biggest agave producing state has its perks as nightlife in Oaxaca is all about Mezcal and fun long nights. Join us on a nightly pregame in our Hostel Garden Area and then later relax in one of our comfy dorms as you prepare for another daytime adventure. Many other museums, restaurants, shops and bike rentals are also at walking distance

The atmosphere was great, super chill, and the staff were all so nice! They also had the best activities offered of any hostel I've been to! Nice location. The beds are a little bit uncomfortable but otherwise this place was perfect.

This is quite possibly the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in! I extended my stay 3 times I loved my time there so much, and many others did the same. The hostel organises daily activities during the day and in the evening. I took part in chocolate making class, cooking class, movie nights and a trip to Hirve el Agua. The volunteers are amazing, and are always on hand to help out whenever you need assistance. I would highly, highly recommend this hostel. It is fantastic!
