Things I liked about Casa Angel Hostel: The breakfast (the juice is amazing!), the rooftop lounge area, sturdy beds in the dorms, safe and secure, the tours you can book at the desk (we did the Hierve el Agua one and enjoyed it! Just know you have to pay extra for entrance fees and food), the super helpful and friendly staff, and the people we met there. The only thing I didn't like was that they only have hot water in the showers from 8-10am/pm. You can request it other times though.
Great hostel with helpful friendly staff. One of the best hostel breakfasts I have had. Drinking beer on the rooftop terrace is a must.
Great hostel, great location, great staff! Would definitely stay again.
The staff at Casa Angel were always willing to help and the day tours are inexpensive and very worthwhile. Fresh cooked eggs at breakfast and fruit. The internet was good but slower during peak times and the location was near some very good restaurants and Mezcal Bars. Dorms are quiet and spacious with a locker to secure your belongings (however, they are too small for larger bags).
Cute, lovely, great staff, clean, great people, great breakfast (included).
It was my second time in this hostel and I enjoyed my stay. The hostel is safe, clean, has a great atmosphere and the location is also perfect to discover the city. The rooftop is nice to know other travellers. There are tours and different activities organized by the hostal. Special thanks to the helpful and friendly staff and the two ladies who are preparing your breakfast in the morning :)
I had the BEST time at this hostel! Delicious breakfast, everything well cleaned, beautiful rooftop terrace for getting drunk with everbidy else ;) I slept in the big dorm which needs more air circulation because if you come in at night it feels like there is very little oxygen.. Apart from that- lovely and helpful staff, great mix of people! Absolutely recommended!
Best hostel we have stayed at in Mexico! Had a three bed dorm and beds were comfortable, and NOT creaky! The breakfast each morning was awesome! Cereal, juice, coffee, eggs and bread with salsa and beans. Could have as much as you wanted. Toilets and showers were clean. Social hostel but quiet time after 11pm which was great, so you could get sleep! Wouldn't stay anywhere else- great experience!!
this hostel is great! is one of the best where I have been. I definitely recommend it for your staying in oaxaca!
It is a good Hostel to meet other people. Very clean and cofortable. The breakfast was delicious!
Friendly staff, affordable rooms and a big rooftop with views of the city makes for a great stay in Oaxaca.

great place, clean rooms and bathrooms, good located, nice staff, good breakfast!
I stayed 4 nights at Angel. It's a really friendly place, close to the city center. I travelled alone and it was easy to get to know people. In the evenings usually people and staff hang out at the terrace drinking beer before going out. I stayed in a 4 dorm, very clean, comfortable beds and good lockers. We had a fan, but it was still a bit warm. The included breakfast was really good, and after breakfast hours guests can use the kitchen for cooking, and there's a fridge to store food.

Super atmosphere, nicely decorated, very big and clean kitchen and common areas to chill out like the beautiful garden and the library. Beautiful rooms with lockers and service (they make youre bed)
Comfortable beds. Proximity to local mercado. Excellent breakfast eggs and black beans and salsa prepared by nice women cooking. Available desktop Internet for those without mobile wifi. Respectful, cordial, mature fellow traveller guests. Attentive and considerate English speaking staff. Fans and bed lights in room improved comfort. An excellent hostel for all ages, so the use of "youth" could be deleted before hostel.

Great hostel with awesome staff and all the facilities a person needs when traveling. Great cooked breakfast with a kitchen for later if you want to cook. Laundry across the street. Great rooftop patio to see the city from. One of the best hostels we stayed at in Mexico. Would definitely stay again!
This hostel was recommended to me by a fellow traveller and it did not disappoint. Very clean hostel. The staff were incredibly helpful and cared about your stay. There is building work going on at the moment, but this did not bother me as I was already up and about. The ladies cook an amazing breakfast, and make your eggs how you want them. I will definitely stay here again. Wifi was also excellent.
Great hostel with an awesome breakfast (included). The rooms are clean and the bathrooms are great. Not a party hostel. The staff was all wonderful except for the dude that was there around 8 am. He was awfully rude and unfriendly.. but maybe he was up all night?
