Large spacious room, comfortable bed, mini kitchen in each room. Close enough to town for it to not be too much a pain, but far enough away that you're not getting creepy dudes and tourists all up in your grills. Really close to a little private section of beach that nobody really goes on but is good for swimming. The place, owner included, is pretty much the embodiment of pura vida.

Casa Caribe was great!! We stayed for two nights in the lower room. It was very clean and everything worked well. Alex showed us to the waterfalls and took us snorkeling the next day. We came back for another night after spending three nights in Bocas del Toro and Alex took us surfing and then came out with us that night for drinks. It is a little bit of a walk from town (like 5 minutes) but it is nice because it is safe and quiet when you want to get some rest. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay at Casa Caribe! The room was clean and comfortable! We had a private room, private bathroom and a kitchenette for only 10$/ person per night. Great value!! The place has a nice location across from a nice swimming beach and a short walk to town which kept the place quiet for a good night of sleep. I felt very safe in this location, and the owner was very relaxed and helpful! I would stay here again!

We had planned to stay in PV for 3 nights but ended up staying at Casa Caribe for 2 weeks. Alex was exceptionally accomodating & made our stay as comfortable & fun as possible. He took us on private tours, gave us surfing lessons, recomended great spots for us to visit & took us out at night. His property is right across from the beach, a short, safe walk into town & very quiet. We stayed in both the house & private rooms & were very happy with both. Would not hesitate to return and recommend!

It is right outside PV (5 minute walk, $2 cab ride) so you don't have to worry about loud partying outside your window when you go to sleep. Alex, the owner, was helpful and courteous. He drove us into town the first night because we didn't want to walk after dark and was very helpful with any questions or requests we had. I was worried the lack of air conditioning would make it hard to sleep but the fan made the room nice and chilly. I would stay there again and recommend to anyone!
