Overall a class act. Great atmosphere, staff, & accommodations. Excellent restaurant on premises if you should choose to dine in or there is nearby Parque de Lleras. Small grocery across street. I haven't really anything negative to say a bout them. Tip: When going up to pool deck on sixth level, bring two beers & no less. That climb up the stairs at 1500 m will get to you.

Hostel is in a good location and is a nice facility although there were many disappointments. We stayed 8 days in a private room, they only cleaned it once. We are on our 6 th night with no housekeeping. Dirty towels, overflowing trash, no more toilet paper and dirty sheets and floors. Found a huge cockroach in our bathroom, and the staff is very unfriendly with poor customer service. They don't know about tours that are advertised on their walls and you have to wait 20 mins to get them to talk.

Pretty sweet hostel, numerous couch areas for hanging and sweet rooftop area. Kitchen and all day coffee very nice. Staff very helpful. Lleras park and nightlife is a 5min walk away so it doesnt get any better.

Super location. Quiet in the dorm areas, with a good bar up front. Clean with decent bathrooms. Easy to book tours etc at front desk. Staff accommodated requests but not overly friendly. Was in a 4 bed dorm which got quite hot, a fan would be useful.

I had the best time at this Hostel. This was my first time to visit Medellin and I was traveling alone, so I wanted to find a hostel known to have a good group of social, friendly travelers looking to have a good time. I received more than I asked for at Casas Kiwi. If you are looking for a nice, quiet time on you stay in Medellin, CK would probably not be the write place fore you. However, if you are looking to meet cool people, great staff, and have an awesome time, I'd definitely recommend.

Good atmosphere and staff, happy Buddha was a little nicer but also louder bc of the bar. Both the best options in the area.

This place is in an awesome location and the deck over looking the street and roof top are seriously awesome. I'd highly recommend this hostel if you are looking to meet people and have a good time in Medellin. Also doesn't hurt that the girl at the bar is very cute as well.

Great location and beautiful hostel. Well laid out and nice facilities. Unfortunately found it to be full of people partying nonstop, and that kind of ruined the experience for me. Not necessarily the hostel's fault, but they definitely are lax when it comes to who is coming in and out.

The place atmosphere is just great, there is a lot of backpackers but also short termn travelings, even a family with their little girl. If you feel like staying, there is enough space for you to decide what to do and make some friends at the same time, pool table, a little but very comfortable tv room, a hamacas space in the top, and a terrace in front. Really great and complete.

Very sociable and easy to meet people, the huge deck or the roof terrace is perfect for hanging out and having drinks. Hostel was clean, you can order food, you can also organise a massage at the hostel which I would highly recommend! It's in a great location near coffee shops, restaurants bars etc! Loved my stay here would definitely stay again, was very sociable but chilled when you needed it (and close to the manic Happy Buddha which is good for drinking definitely not sleeping!)

Nice place to hang out in the day. Dorms are nothing special.

The actual hostel is great, fantastic location and great hammock area and roof terrace with pool. It's a shame though because with a bit of effort it could have been so much more. The bar area and downstairs terrace are never used and most of the staff were useless (couldn't grasp simple concepts like extending my stay). The bar man would sit on his phone instead of getting drinks (maybe why it was empty). You end up just going out to the hostel around the corner when you want to go out.

too hot and too dark in the rooms.

Bar was closed when it was supposed to be open, kitchen was closed when it was supposed to be open. Drinks were expensive at the bar when it was open.

Very kind and helpful staff. I loved that they offer a nice bike tour (paid, though). But, they could not offer breakfast.
