Casa Kiwi Hostel Medellin

Hola! At Casa Kiwi Hostel we've been hosting backpackers since 2005 at the best location in Medellin right on the edge of Provenza, with tons of bars, clubs, and restaurants right out our door. Come check out our 5th floor rooftop nestled in the trees with great views, free weekly yoga classes, a small pool, and a bar from 4pm til midnight where we host local musicians and an open mic night every Wednesday, beer pong, and karaoke. We also have a great hammock area, a movie theatre with a big-screen and DirecTV satellite reception, a guest kitchen with free coffee and tea, and another bar on the first floor with a pool table.

There is a mini market right across the street from the hostel where you can get everything you need to use our guest kitchen.
The nearest Metro station (Poblado) is located 15 min walking.

We have options for every traveller's budget: private rooms with en-suite bathrooms, private rooms with shared bathrooms, and dorm beds. Each dorm bed has its own locker; all you need is your own padlock. And all of private rooms have a small safe.

There is high speed Wi-Fi internet access available throughout the hostel. We can print your boarding pass for free in our 24 hour reception. You don't need to worry about arriving too late or early, there is always someone to help you out if you need to book tickets, tours or provide information about the city. If your departure from Medellin is later in the day, or you are arriving earlier than our check in time, you are more than welcome to use our common areas.

According to Colombian legislation regarding migration, any person entering the country should show their original document at the time of registration in any establishment. We do not accept copies or photos.

Please bear in mind once checked in and paid the full amount, no refunds will be performed if you cancel or modify your booking.

*Payment upon arrival by cash, credit cards, debit cards. (Except Discover cards)
*Taxes for Colombian residents and citizens - occupancy tax of 19% (IVA) per person per night - are not included in the prices shown here. Non Colombian citizens are exempt from IVA.
*Guests under the age of 18 are not allowed to stay in shared dormitories. They must book private rooms and stay with their parents.
* Please note that when making reservations for more than one person in a dorm, we will do our best, but cannot guarantee that you will be placed in the same room.
*Visitors are allowed in the lobby on the first floor.
*Bed linen and towels included.
*Cancellations must be notified at least 1 day before arrival by email.
*Sex Tourism is forbidden.
