Nice atmosphere, lovely big common room with comfy sofas, TV and beer. Breakfast was good, included dulce de leche! Staff friendly and helpful, also multi-lingual. Internet works well in common area, not really in dorms. Only complaint was the terrible showers which are mostly ice cold with an occasional 20 second blast of hot steam! Staff aware but have apparently been waiting >1 month for it to be fixed. Could do with bathmats, floors get quite slippy. Overall good stay.

11 weeks in argentina and chile and this was the worst value of all the places I have stayed. For such an old building the price should be much lower. You can not even turn around in the shower without hitting the faucet and blasting yourself with hot water. Staff was very helpful though.

Casa Mosaico Hostel rates highly in my opinion for the friendly and extremely helpful staff, clean, comfortable beds, hot showers and decent breakfast. Also it is very centrally located in Bellavista, within walking distance of excellent cafes, shopping and the Plaza d'Armas. Congratulations to Helden, Marcela and Alan for your very competent management and super helpful service.

Great hostel in the perfect location for Santiago. Close to the city centre but also in the best area for going out at night. Staff were great and the hostel had a very relaxed atmosphere in the common area. Bar and restaurant attached to the hostel serve great food and beer too!

Really enjoyed my stay here. Was travelling on my own and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The only let down was some excursions leaflets that were discontinued were still available

breakfast , milk was like water and they should have bread every early morning! Toillet could be also a little big is quite hard to have shower in that,
