Christian at Merced was incredible, he really improved my experience staying there. So friendly and happy to give reccomendations and answer any questions. I felt the vibe of the Hostel was a bit flat, and the laundry service wasn’t working and some of the shower heads were broken. I just felt a few repairs would make the place feel more new. I was expecting the hostel to be more social as well

Christian the receptionist is the absolute GOAT. You don’t need to know which one he is because once you meet him you’ll know. He was always there to help and super friendly!! The main downside to this hostel was the lack of curtains on beds and cleaners constantly entering in the mornings, but the rooms were very nice and spacious. I tried a few hostels in Santiago because I was struggling to find one I liked and this one is not the best ever but was defo the best of a bad bunch!
