The hostel is a tram stop away from the Nagasaki Station and a walk away from Dejima. Also really good eats at Dejima port if you want to try local Champon Udon really good. Also a tram ride or 20 min walk from Gunkanjima ferry tour I recommend seeing it. Staff is nice to give you info. Be cool if they had a board showing all the sites or recommendation like other hostels but other then that great place.
I really enjoyed my stay at Casa Noda, especially the staff was very friendly! Wanna go again :) Greetings Thomas
Great place!! The owner and staff are really friendly and helpful and can easily be convinced to grab a beer with you. The rooms are nice and clean, spacious, with lockers if you need them. Great lounge and kitchen area for cooking and hanging out and the free breakfast is especially nice!
A good and cheap choice to stay in Nagasaki. The staff gave us some discount tickets, very convenient to visit the main attractions in that city. Breakfast OK and bedroom very confortable, with a small manga library included.
Not really far from the Nagasaki Train Station and in front of a tramway stop (Machi Goto). Easy acces to the main touristic places of Nagasaki. The establishment is clean and neat. The staff is really great, friendly and trully helpful. It was one of the best stay in my trip around Japan. I recommend backpackers to stop here. Also the night view from the smoking space on the roof is cool.
Good location! very near to the JR station and the port. Staff are friendly and will show you how to access to certain sight-seeing attraction. Dorm is big. Enough place to put your bags. Futon mattress is placed directly on top of the wooden plank bed, it hurts my bed when I sleep. Unlike some other hostels where they place a mattress pad under the futon. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.
Thin mattress though I slept extremely well with no problems, great location & staff were super helpful with providing Festival info in English.... thanks!
I was very pleased with my experience at Casa Noda. I would definitely stay at this hostel again, and I will recommend it to others staying in Nagasaki.
