There was a Japanese guy, the owner of this hostel, was really helpful! He sat down with us, using a map to explain nagasaki attractions, as well places to eat. He was really friendly and the hostel was located a very good location. 10mins walk away from the JR Nagasaki Station.

Nice enough. You get your bed and facilities, free net and a cozy common room. No bells and whistles. Avoid the 10-person dorm though unless you hate sleep.

I've stayed in a private twin room for two nights and it's nice, spacious and clean (The owner of the hostel told me that the room was newly refurbished two weeks ago). The hostel is quite convenient as it only took me around 5 min from Nagasaki station and like 20 seconds to the tram station. The only concern for this hostel is that it's situated in 3-5/F of the building. I personally won't be bothered by this as the hostel's character, staff, everything makes it different.

The hostel is very clean. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. He was very helpful and took the time to tell us about the best sites to visit. He makes great efforts to make us feel at home. He speaks well English and also Spanish! The location is very near the train station and the wharf. We used the twin room and found it quite cosy and relatively spacious (for a room in Japanese hostel).

The staff were very very friendly and welcoming and the hostel is easy to find and very conveniently located. We really enjoyed our stay. The beds were not comfortable though, and lacked sheets so maybe not great for a long stay.

Clean, near the station and the staff is really kind! My only problem was the reception being in third floor( my fault for carrying a heavy suitcase). Excellent place.

Traveled around Japan during Golden Week and this was BY FAR the best place I stayed at. The owner was out when we arrived and left us a sign giving us instructions and the key. The staff was amazing. There's constantly students from nearby schools who come to visit and are really fun to hang out with. I wish I knew how lively the lounge would be at night instead of trying to find a bar on a Sunday night and should have just stayed in. The dorms itself are not the best, but definitely worth it.

One of the best hostels we\'ve ever stayed at, Shinji the owner is so helpful, friendly and genuine. Nothing was too much trouble and his English is excellent. After 11 months traveling around the world Casa Noda was such an amazing, homely and friendly stop, it was very hard to leave!

The hostel was great and I would recommend it to anyone staying in Nagasaki. It is very central and you are able to walk or catch the streetcar to most places from the hostel. The owner/manager was great and meets you on arrival and is always happy to give advice on places to see and things to do. Having breakfast supplied every mornning was great. Thank you for a great stay in Nagasaki and will stay at the Casa Noda again.

Pros: It\'s a ten-minute walk south of Nagasaki Station owner enjoys swapping stories with guests other guests have interesting stories owner can give good recommendations for places to visit and to eat simple but filling breakfast. Con: Bed mattresses are thin, so you can easily feel bed boards when you sleep. Overall: I would willingly stay here if I were to visit Nagasaki again.

Ended up staying one night, I didn\'t get to meet the owner but the intern there was helpful and outgoing. This hostel is located at a perfect location, direction will be: get out of the station (which only has one exit) go towards your right until you see an orange sign that says Casa Noda. Literally 2-5 minutes walk. (regular-slow pace) The setting of this hostel is very casual yet well equipped, backpackers standard norms, and the hammock in the lounge is definitely a catch! The Hostel was excellent, could not ask for anything better. Breakfast in the morning, very clean, very safe, central to the whole town and a great welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. It felt more like being a guest in someones home rather than a business. Would recommend to anyone.
