Stayed for a couple nights. Great location close to the main square, Jenny was lovely and staff helpful with arranging ongoing transport to Sucre. Just note that the private dorm had no lockers, I couldn't connect my phone to their wifi and the shower was cold and drippy. Still, good stay.

This hostel was fine. Nothing special about it. Room was very small and showers were sporadic. Hot water was not working after we returned from the mine tour so we were not too happy about that. It seems the hostel is left to be run by a 12 year old boy during the day who has little idea of what is going on. Wifi was very poor, only worked in a 3 metre radius from the router. However, the owner was helpful in organising our tour and onwards travel, shame he seemed so bored most of the time.

Wifi not working, tiny kitchen open from 3pm only. bad organisation from the owners, freezing cold, and Boring as hell ! not a good backpacker place AT ALL

Nice hostel, helpful staff, good rooms and comfy warm beds. Showers were hot but just a trickle. The only problem was they lock the doors and often don't hear the bell, so you could be standing Outside for at least ten minutes waiting to be let in, which is a particular problem at night.

I loved that place. It looks like nothing when you see it from outside, but the dorm beds were comfortable. There is also a nice chilling area near the computer that's great for meeting other travellers

No atmosphere. Dirty toilets and showers; no toilet paper. Staff either nowhere to be found or entirely uninterested in guests. They couldn't even provide a map of the city, which is fundamental in hospitality. Staff locks front door at 9 pm, making it impossible to leave the site after that point, to say nothing about the obvious fire hazard this represents. Terrible place to stay.

Slightly odd hostel - didn´t see many other guests except at breakfast, feels like there just happen to be rooms at the restaurant! Simple accommodation, small, clean rooms and hot showers. Wifi didn´t work at all, but this seems to be common across Bolivia. Staff do not speak English, so brush up your Spanish to stay here! The owner speaks a little English and all the staff are really helpful despite the language barrier. They organised a mine tour from the hostel and booked a taxi to Sucre

Its well located around the main square, and there are a lot of people around the hostel, confortable beds. And thats all. There are to much people for the facilities, bathrooms are always ocupied and only one of three works fine. Music all day long since 8 am is unlikely to help travelers who intend to spend some long time travelling and need to rest a little. Acomodations extemely small and not good smell around the hostel. Staff said would book tickets for us and forgot.

As we already informed you we were not impressed of this hostel. We had avery small room, with continuing daylight from the ceiling. There were only 3 toilets of which 2 were effective. The breakfast was good. The worst thing we had was they paying of a shared taxi we ordered and paid in the hostel for the drive from postosi to sucre. After the drive the taxi driver wanted the full amount for the drive because he had not heard or received money from the hostel.we refused. Bad bad !!

We booked a double room, but they gave us a dorm when we arrived. Apologetic but disorganized. It's a big hostel, which means large groups of people hanging out noisily in small communal areas. Beds were new and comfortable. Decent enough breakfast (jam and bread). Restaurant serves good value lunch if you like Bolivian food. Tried to push their mine tour a little, but gave up after we said no.

Good hostel to stay in Potosi. Good location and really friendly staff. They have a hang out area inside and also a nice garden which turns into a lunch restaurant too. Mine tour is worth going, definitely. It was quite quiet when I was there but sure when theres more people atmosphere will be better :).

Location was near the bus station that goes to Iguazu. The hostel was dark and cramped. We were only there for one night in a private room.

Good friendly place. Big beds. Wifi access might not be always available. The staff can help you with booking taxi's to the bus station and Sucre. The tour to the mines they offer is excellent! Don't confuse with another Vicunia hotel in Potosi (apparantly there is one more).
