+close to the center +lots of blankets. Traveled in October and sleeping bag wasn't needed +breakfast was basic bread and butter / coffee tea, but that is expected. One day there was also fruit, which was nice +basic facilities, good value for private room -laundry a bit pricey for line dry -you don't get front key so sometimes you need to wait a bit for them to open up the door -showers were hit or miss with warm water Overall good value.

Decent hostel overall. Offers you everything a standard hostel would. The staff are nice and were helpful with booking a mining tour and were ok with us checking in at 2am. Cleanliness was fine as well.

The lovely 4 beds dormitory is located by the television room where the family children enjoy watching loud movies. Whilst the room is spacious the uniquevical sadness of it echoes it's temperature (5C early morning). Luckily the beds are well stock in theak blankets that are not washed between visitors. Same applies to the bed sheets. The last person who slept in my bed clipped his/her nails and, very thoughtfully, left the remains behind. The bathtoom is equally discusting. Poor breakfast.

The shower was hot and there were heaters in the main living areas which was super nice. The beds and bathrooms were clean. It's about 3 blocks away from the restaurants and tour agencies. (Definitely go to the mines with BIG DEAL [Bustillos 1092, potosi] +591 2 623 0478. it was an amazing tour and they donate part of the money to buy food for the miners families. a must see when you visit potosi!)

Potosi itself has little going on except the mine tours The hostel appears to be someone's home breakfast is standard bread and jam coffee which is fine Rooms have no lockers and plug hanging out of wall which kept sparking when the guy pushed it in and we used it Not 24 hour reception my friend had to wake the owner from bed when we wanted to check out as he appeared to live there in the room next door to ours he was however helpful with our taxi to the bus station
