Owner was extremely welcoming and has created a hostel with great modern decor, with a homely touch in a great location- up on the 7th floor able to overlook the city from private balcony! Breakfast was included, eggs, toast, coffee, juice. Highly recommend this hostel!

There are a lot of disturbing opinions about Guayaquil out there, but this hostel, with its incredibly convenient location, AMAZINGly helpful and friendly staff, and secure, reliable, clean facilities (hot water, wi-fi and a delicious breakfast with great coffee) helped make my visit a positive experience that exceeded all expectations, thank you!

one of the best hostels we stayed in during our trip. staff is super friendly and helpful - whether it's about getting a pickup service arranged, organization of onwards trips with public buses in equador, obtaining restaurant advices etc.. the place is an oasis to relax in this big city which misses all the charm that casa romero can offer.

This is a really nicely refurbished apartment, in a great location. There are nice hot showers and the rooms are lovely. The staff are exceptional. We left for the airport at 5am, and they got up to make us breakfast before we went!

Andrea, the owner, speaks excellent English, is very knowledgeable, and a great help in getting you to your next destination with the least hassle. This will be my place of choice when I come to Guayaquil in the future. Please be advised that Guayaquil is a very, very noisy city. If you are a very light sleeper, you may have problems sleeping.. But that is just Guayaquil, and not a fault of this hostel.

Wonderful little hostel with private rooms in a great location near the Malecone and old-town Guayaquil. The staff (Andrea) were terrific in helping us get around the city, see what needs to be seen, eat what needs to be et, and avoid what needs to be avoided. Don't let the someone sketchy-appearing neighborhood and tiny sign near a huge gate turn you off. The area is fine and this hostel is terrific!

Wonderful place can\'t say enough good things about it. The only minor drawback is the noise of car horns but get over it and enjoy everything else it has to offer.

This was one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in- more like a guest house than hostel. The rooms are very modern, with comfortable beds and hot water. The breakfasts are amazing, with wholegrain bread and freshly squuezed juice with eggs etc. Andrea is so lovely and she was so helpful- she went out of her way to help up with travel advice. I would definitely recommend staying here- we loved it and so did my parents (who were a bit nervous about arriving in Sth Am for first time)
