We stayed here for two nights and had a great time! It's so close to the beach and to D'Mall, took us about 5 minutes to walk to either one. It was wonderful and I highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Boracay Island.

Great place right next door to Frendz resort which is really sociable. Staff are great and really helpful. Room was big. 2 queen beds with air con. Close to beach and street. Only negative thing I have to say is that the pathway from the street to the hostel isn't that obvious and is really dark at night.

as always the Frendz people that also run Casamso are great-friendly, attentive, informative and consistently cheerful, meals - good but kind of pricey, room-spacious but musty smelling, a/c- ok but not as cold, bath-big but not planned well. Casamso will benefit if fully integrated with Frendz rather than like an afterthought. Start with having same entrance so it will have the same vibe - like old Boracay where everyone is interesting and a friend. Reinhardt must be proud of his team!

We had a great stay at Casamso. The room was really big and had good aircon. The only downside was that I'm pretty sure there were roosters just on the other side of the wall of our bathroom with very little sound proofing..so we could hear them at any point. We didn't spend much time in the actual room so it didn't really matter too much and we got used to it. All the staff at Frendz were great!

Loved the fun atmosphere, welcoming environment and the friendly staff.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casamso! The friendly staff at Frendz Resort made our Boracay experience even better. They offer a good breakfast for cheap, host a dinner with live music, and are very helpful with scheduling activities such as Ariel's Point and snorkeling, as well as transportation. It is a really great place to stay if you are traveling with a couple of people but you still want the hostel experience of meeting a lot of fellow travelers. I'll definitely be back next trip!

I stayed in Casmo one night, and spent the rest of my trick at Frendz. Although the two hostels are connected and basically the same, I personally preferred my room at Frendz because it came with a porch. If that doesn't matter to you though, and Frendz is full, definitely stay at Casamo. You have access to all the same amenities at Frendz guests do, and the room is a decent size!

I stayed here cause Frendz next door was full. It was a nice room and short walk to the beach. Frendz is next door and a great spot to meet people.

Overall, my stay at Casamso was excellent. The rooms were of decent size for the money, the staff was incredibly friendly, the location was excellent, the food was good and I would definitely recommend it to the budget traveler.

Casamso was great! We were 4 girls traveling together in late January 2013 from all different nationailties. We loved the hostel & staff from Casamso/Frendz. The owner is a gem who will make your stay as accomidating & fun as possible. The location is prime & facilities are simple & value for money. You have the opportunity to use their sun beds on the beautiful white beach & the staff know all about the great activities around. Best part is the cheap but delicious food & drinks from their bar.

The hostel was great! Loved the staff and location was very close to the beach. The only downside was the shower/bathroom. Could've been a bit more clean! But great overall!

We had a great time staying at Casamso. The staff was awesome, friendly, and helpful. Our room was great and had a private AC and bathroom (we stayed in one of the 4 person family rooms). The location is perfect, less than a five minute walk to the beach and all of the attractions on the main strip. Casamso is right next to Frendz, if you stay at Casamso you can use all of the Frendz amenities, which is great. The only negative was hearing the rooster every morning...but we got used to it!

We didn't end up staying at Casamso. We stayed next door at the original hostel called "Frendz" Frendz was great and the owner and staff are so friendly, I'm sure you'll experience the same great service at the hostel right next door!
