This is a nice cozy place. It has Wi-Fi. Istiklal caddesi is 10 seconds away. The staff is very friendly. Feel free to ask any help. Hot-cold water was no problem. It is a quiet place if you need a good sleep you will get it.

Really great location, especially for those wanting to go out to bars and clubs. I did not find the staff warm or very helpful. They weren't interested in making conversation or ensuring everything was ok. However, the owner seemed very friendly. On a few occasions the toilets were blocked. The rooms were clean and tidy, but the whole place just needs a bit of a refresh - such as the paintwork and fixing the broken lockers.

There was no water in the bathroom in the early mourning on the day we checked out.

we booked this hotel as we wanted our experience in Istanbul to be perfect and it certainly was! The reception staff greeted us with open arms and made us very welcome from the moment we stepped in the front door.

Everything was very good. Location is perfect as it is close to the main street with all the shops/bars/clubs and also walking distance from where the bus drops you off from the airport. Thx to Mr Ahmed for great atmosphere and hospitality.

indeed an excellent place with a lovely, helpful and caring host, not to mention the convenient location and perfect service. it's a great choice as a hostel!

They should think about bit renovating the place, it's very shaby.

Very helpfull and kind staff, always smiling and available to help in any case of need. I think that, personnally, an effort could be done on the cleanliness, espacially in the bathroom...

The breakfast should start early, I think. As Istanbul is full of interesting (as well as super crowd) spots to visit, one needs to wake up rather early and leave maximum at 8-8:30, Therefore it should be possible to have breakfast in the hostel already at 7:30-8pm. However, I also understand that the spirit of Turkey fights with the concept of earl bird. :-)

I really enjoyed my stay at the hostel. The staff was very helpful and welcoming, and the overall service was great. My room was clean and comfortable. Everything was just as described. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone as the location is convenient too as it is 3 min walk from the Taksim Square.

Nice place, well located, clean. The head of the staff is very nice, welcoming and helpful. Definitively a good choice to stay. Only downside is that it does not offer an environment particularly suited to meeting other travelers. The common area is rather narrow so people quickly go there for their emails but not much socializing opportunities.

Great Place !

Nice hostel ina a very convenient location, being at 100 m from Taksim square. The owner seemed to be very nice, talkative and helpful. A minor problem was given by the noise of the hostel: the beds, door knobs and floor of our room were quite noisy and it was rather easy to be waken up by whoever entered the room when we were sleeping. Also, we had problems with the water 2 times (2 hours one day and 3 the other) in our 5 days stay when there was almost no running water in the bathroom :/

It was an awesome experience staying in Chambers of the Boheme, in the heart of Istanbul. Ahmet, the owner of the pf the hotel, rocks. Do share your plans with him, he will definitely guide you in exploring Istanbul and Turkey in best possible way.

It,s been great to be at this hostel, i really enjoyed staying there, lovely people friendly environment, rooms are quite bige and lots of room to manover, the beds are firm good quality mattress, 5star bed sheets,I would recommend to every one who wants to enjoy thier holiday/stay. this place is quite central, everything is just round the corner. I give this hostel A+++++++.

During my 3 week trip from Scotland, England and Turkey I visited 4 hostels and Boheme has been the best by far. The staff was extremely cooperative. the owner, Mr. Ahmat guides you for the trips not only within Istanbul but for trips out of station as well, especially to Izmir (Ephesus and Pamukkale) and Cappadocia. Unfortunately I wasn't able to avail the opportunity as I didn't know and the had to spend a lot more than what Boheme was offering. A highly recommended place I must say.

Although the hostel is in a very convenient location just off Istiklal Street and a few minutes' walk from Taksim Square, it failed to impress me otherwise. The lack of a good common area makes that there isn't much of an atmosphere, unfortunately. Additionally, the furniture is in dire need of an update and the cleanliness is subpar, especially that of the bathrooms. On the upside, the airconditioning is much appreciated and the friendliness and the hospitality of the owner are sublime!

Really nice hostel. Amed the owner is very knowledgeable and helpful - take his advice re good cheap food and cheap beer!

For partying it's located well, that also means it can be quite loud during the whole night. WiFi connection is only next to the reception desk. Not a good hostel to meet other people, because there is no good common area. The room and bathroom were pretty dirty and beds were falling apart. It also seemed like anyone could enter the hostel which doesn't make it the safest place to stay.

This is a lovely hostel. Right in the centre of Istanbul, close to the main strip but not on it) which is a good thing, the accommodation there gets so much noise). The owner of this hostel is really helpful and nothing is too much trouble - he was really kind, he even let my sister staying somewhere else store her luggage in his hostel and use the. private bathrooms, and clean too! Also comfy beds. Would definitely stay here again if I am ever in Istanbul again.
