The hostel staff was very helpful! Note: The western slope is very close to the Changbaishan airport, so if you arrive early enough you can go directly from the airport. Beware that the entrance tickets are expensive, and you need to buy the bus pass to see anything. The hostel provides great buses to get to the northern slope for 30 yuan per person. Note that to get back to Changbaishan airport, there is only one shuttle bus at 3pm, or else you need to taxi. The hot springs day trip was great!

The hostel is relocated. Pickup at railway station. Just a few of staff were speaking english, but on the other hand they were very service minded. The reason I went there was Changbaishan Mountain. The hostel are providing excellent services if You are going up. And all other guests are going there, so You can eaisly go in a group where at least some are speaking english and can help you to buy tickets. A very nice athmosphere in lobby with mainly chinese students, Wifi. Chinese breakfast.

The wired Internet did not work in our room and they didn't have a community room, breakfast or laundry facilities at this location. We stayed in the new location and went to the old location to do our laundry. Atmosphere was better at the old location but I don't know about the rooms there.
When we arrived， we decided to change from a dorm room to a private room - no problem。 Staff were nice。 Food in the restaurant was tasty。 Bathroom was a little smelly， like most Chinese hotels。
This is a fine place to stay for visiting the North side of Changbai Mountain. It's right next to the Baihe train station, and it's easy to find a bus to the mountain for 15 RMB one way. Our room was simple and worked just fine. The common area is a good place to hang out, and they have food/drinks for sale too. If you're going to Changbai Mountain and don't want to spend a lot of money on your accommodations and transport, this place is probably your best bet!
Good place and close to the train station. Walk straight out onto the main road, turn right and it's 200-300m down on the right. Rooms are a bit cold and damp unfortunately but the electric blanket helps a bit with this. Communal area is pleasant. About a 20min walk to the downtown area and local parks. Cheap place to stay considering Changbaishan is pretty damn expensive.
