Amazing location with great view to the bay. The parties were awesome too, just that the place is not that big and you can hear the music everywhere. The breakfast was really tropical, I really liked all the fruits they had to offer.

the hostel is located quite far away on the beach but it was ok the dorms are nice . the bathroom wasn't very clean and it hasn't been cleaned in 3 days! the staff wasn't very nice. not very communicative. They didn't explain us anything about the hostel, the island... but the organised good parties. Main problem: when the do a party the music is very loud and from our dorm we could hear everything until 5 am! it is kind of anoying whan you want to sleep!

Located right on the beach, surrounded by nature. Great view, very laid back atmosphere...it was a brand new experience for me.

It's very mystical, everything works around the ocean. Fantastic view, but be prepared for a long walk to get there.

The location and atmosphere were top notch! Really enjoyed our stay and met some great people, only downsides were the attitudes of the staff and the condition of the room, they thought it was appropriate to give our dorm a re-plastering whilst we were staying there!

The staff is great. Thanks Camila for everything! The best thing is the location, just right on the beach with a great view. Is missing some refurbishment on the rooms and activities. Theres nothing to do apart from the beach.

Location is great, just keep in mind regarding luggage that there's a 10 min walk or so on the beach to get there. The parties after midnight are great, breakfast is very abundant too. I disagree with the key system though.

Che Lagarto is a youth hostel. Don\'t go there if you\'re looking for a nice and quiet hostel. If you on the other hand are looking for a big hostel with a lot of young people, this is the place for you.

Sweet place, I actually got to spend the day with a couple of fellow travelers I'd met on my way to Rio. Excellent view, couldn't ask for more.

The Location of the hostel is great and the people who work there too, very nice. They need a little bit more organization on administrating the rooms and they should really worry a little bit more on cleanliness. Aside from that it is the best place to meet great new people and have a lot of fun!

the guy at the resption was so rude, they put us in a 8dorm bed instead of 6dorm bed. which was 8us$/p/n cheaper, but they only gave us 1 caipi each not even for every night. no money back, which we had to pay in advanced without seeing the room! there was only one shower for 8beds, the breakfast was horrible, the rooms and bed was occupied when we arrived. they poor guys had to change rooms, same with us the next day! they put us in a different room! room was durty, not mention the shower.

The hostel is like a guest house, the surroundings of the place are quite amazing. There are bikes to travel around. I really liked it!

Fun hostel, maybe too loud sometimes but it's worth the reservation.

It was a nice touch to have air conditioning in our room, private restrooms too. They've got free internet but just 3 computers, it gets difficult to check your email when the place is busy. It's a comfortable hostel above all.

If you are looking for party, this is a hostel for you. This was what i wanted, so I had 3 wonderful nigths at che largarto. Every night there are people playing guitar, singing, and after that a DJ. It is far from the center, but they have meals at a good price (barbecue, hamburgers, etc). The bad things: breakfast is not the best (only coffee and bread), you can´t use the refrigerator, is imposible to cook because the staf use the kitchen for the meals.
