We stayed in che lagarto over the new year and had an absolute ball. Despite there being no kitchen. The staff were incredible, so so so helpful. Nightly events make the bar busy and always a heap of fun. Amazing location on the beach. Could not have asked for a better new year.

The elevator broke on the first day we got there. They moved us up to the 6th floor without telling us, just put others in our beds and let us figure it out. Decided to paint the narrow stair well and do constructions over Christmas/new years, probably their biggest week. The water didn't work 60% of our stay. And then a room near us had bed bugs for the second time in two weeks. Other than all that it was awesome. Haha. The tours were alright. The location was great.
