WIFI doesn't work on the 1st floor. The elevator's been broken for over a month and going to the 3rd floor, where the reception is and the internet works, after walking for the day in Lisbon through its hills, was really painful. There are kitchens on both 3rd and 1st floors for fixing quick meals (no cookers available). The staff is helpful, but there isn't much they can do given the precarious conditions of the hostel. Rooms with their windows facing the church can be noisy.

The owner is very nice and helpful. Very cheap hostel with nice and clean rooms but the area is not very pleasant.

It's a good place for young people; taking in account the low price, the fact that it's a 15 minute walk from Lisbon city centre, and that the elevator was broken so we had to walk to the 4th floor. The staff was very nice, and the rooms and bathroom are clean. There's no fire to cook, but a fridge, microwave and dishes to have some cheap meal "at home"

We'd been double booked and were moved to another place down the road. Another woman who lived in the building was telling me how the hostel was dirty and not very well run. No reception to speak of, we got lucky another group arrived at the same time and could let us in the building.

The hostel was great and cheap, the room was nice (double bed, shared toilet), tv, no air conditiner, towels and there were a nice private terrace, the staff couldn't talk in English and weren't too helpful, the hostel is a building of flats, it doesn't look like a hostel, but was fine.

Staff was very polite and kind. However, kitchen is in a bad condition, and I would recommend to everyone not to expect to cook in there. Rooms were average and clean. Definitively try eating in a small restaurant right next door.

The hostel was on a good location, the staff was friendly. What bothered me was the broken elevator, because it wasn't really a pleasrue walking up the stairs with our luggage. The kitchen isn't really a ktichen, because there are no possobilities to actually cook, just a sink, fridge, toaster and a microwave...

The place is nice and clean (the double room at least), but I would not advise the location. Something like an immigrant quarter with strange people in the streets at night. We got no damage from them though, I would not recommend girls to walk there alone at night. Good thing is it's very close to the metro. Staff was short on English. The place is very quiet. No oven in the kitchens, just the microwaves. Not bad place for non fastidious people.

Initially I was a little bit confussed in finding the reception desk of the hostel (it turned out that the reception is on the up flloor, while the rooms are on the lesser floor), and the reception itself (I had to wait for the staff in the reception disk for about 5 minutes, then to wait until my room will be cleaned and ready), but all other things were OK: the place (quite close to the centre and metro station), the private and quite atmosphere inside the hostel (not too many people).

Not bad, but things were kind of falling apart (shelves, furniture, flooring). There was no wifi in our room, just around the reception. As others have already mentioned on some days there were some loud people at the entrance of the building, yet it didn't seem dangerous or anything at all. Nice staff, simple and cheap accomodation.

-No collective silent hour (couldn't sleep because of guests walking into the kitchen all the time after 00h) -Very filthy shower. I had to wash off the molds of the shower door, this was very disgusting. - In a premises where you can't throw toilet paper into the toilet because of the sewage being old, you can't empty the waste bin on a frequency of 2 days, they have to be emptied at least 2 times a day. - Poor English of hosts - Poor security

Great location and relaxed atmosphere, could do with better air conditioning and somewhere to lock valuables

Very friendly staff and nice room!

Terrible directions. But the place was nice and clean. Must take metro to see, do or eat anything though. Staff was very nice and helpful though.

The neighborhood seemed a little bit dangerous, probably because we weren't accustomed to all these ethnic differences, but we didn't have any problems at all. Further more, the hostel staff was very helpful and nice. We didn't spend much time in the room. We had a double room with a private bathroom. It was cleaned after two days and the sheets and towels were changed. Very clean and tidy. Thin walls though, but luckily nobody snored :D

The hostel staff was great. They have PC so even if you dont own the computer you can use one in hostel. I didnt like the district where the hostel is because it looked dangerous, but later I got used to it. You can use kitchen which is convenient. Room was also good for such price. Highly recommend!

It is located in bad part of the city. The shower was really dirty. The staff was nice and helpful.

I think it is the best deal for staying near the center at an affordable price. The staff was very nice and the room was great.

Everything was very good. We were given the opportunity to choose room. The receptionist was very friendly and he was able to help us all the time. Nice vacation.
