While booking we indicated our arrival time at 00:00. When we arrived the hostel was fuly booked and without saying ANYTHING the receptionist took my bag, took us to a hostel down the street and brought us to 'our' room. He then asked for the 23.80 we were due to pay in his hostel, gave only 20 to the hostelowner and took the remaining 3.80. The hostel was OK for one night sleep, but the bathrooms were tiny and didn't feel clean at all (so did the beds). Not a great way to start our holiday...!

This is a low-end hotel make no bones about it. The good - hostel is located near interdente metro and the rooms were cheap - 40 Euro per night for a private double ensuite. Water pressure and temp good The bad - No breakfast even though they come up as a "bed and breakfast" on Hostelworld. No private parking, loud neighborhood, barely passable rooms in terms of cleanliness (mold in the shower and even on the toilet paper roll!), staff not knowledgable or particularly helpful. Poor Kitchen
This is NOT a place for people who expect luxury and who love to complain about pattern on wallpaper. Although it is clean, our room was big enough and had a nice balcony.Plenty of cafe's and shops arround 28 tram stop just 100m from the place, metro station as well (Anjos). Kitchen equipped with large fridge, very polite staff.Cant expect more for 20e/room/night. Reccomended!
