Welcome to the Jungle Hostel in Sosua! We are a Canadian owned and family operated hostel associated with the Coco Hotel.

Nestled in the secure, quiet Dominican Suburb of El Batey only a 15 minute walk from downtown Sosua, main beach, discos, and casinos. Local shops, restaurants, transportation, etc. are at your doorstep. Enjoy a variety of fresh foods and local goods all delivered to our hotel by the local residents.

We have a brand new hostel with 8 single beds, 3 shared bathrooms and 3 hot showers. We offer a shared kitchen with all appliances and dishes, Linens, towels, toiletries, hot water, swimming pool, garden area with loft and free WI-FI all available for your convenience.

The hotel has a generator, and solar hot water for your convenience. A very popular community bar open 24 hours is located on the premise. Night security watchman is on duty from 11pm - 8am. Free parking outside the hotel, swimming pool, BBQ, quiet shaded garden area and eating area are just a few of the extras.
