The staff were friendly and helpful, and the beach was super close! Also, $5 boogie-board rentals, $10 bike rentals. I will definitely be staying there again if I'm ever in Coffs.

this is the kind of hostel where people stay for months - for good reason. the staff are great and its really clean and friendly and has everything you want. good kitchen and a list of dvds to watch. its definitely not a party hostel - some of the young 20s people were saying its too quiet but if you want a good nights sleep and a friendly place this is for you. its out of town but they do free pickups and dropoffs (even to pub at certain times) and a taxi back was about 7 dollars.

An excellent hostel. Probably the best I have stayed in in Australia. Neat, tidy and well organised. Close to the jetty which is good. A half an hour walk from the shopping area.

The price was high for what was offered, the room had very basic furniture, and no lift. Also the toilet made a very loud noise.   Read Owner Comments

Compared with my past experience with other hostels, this place is very quiet and good rest at night can be assured. I particularly like its FREE private secured car park at the YHA

This was not so much a backpacker hostel, but catered more for everyone. However the staff could not have been more helpful, and the place was modern and clean.
