City slickers should choose a hostel in the centre of Coffs Harbour for quirky coffee shops, lively Aussie pubs and the city’s best restaurants. If you’re more of a sun-seeker then you’ll love staying by the beautiful golden sand beach and its crystal clear waters. At the Coffs Harbour Marina you can spot an abundance of wildlife, including shearwater birds and even migrating whales if you time it right!

While Coffs Harbour might be less known than other Australian towns and cities, however, you won’t be short of adventurous things to do while you’re in town. Those that love adventure and nature, chose from activities such as paddle boarding, walking tracks to hidden pools and lookout points, a treetop adventure park and skydiving, to name a few.

A few local bus companies cover the Coffs Coast; however, walking is an easy way to get around the town, with a variety of walking paths and trails both around the town but also to close by destinations. If your legs get tired of walking or perhaps you want to travel further and faster, why not hire a bike. Cycling around the town, coastal routes and national parks are a popular option. There is also a 24-hour taxi service operating in town, should you ever find yourself in need of a ride.
