This is one of my favourite hostels I've stayed in!! Such a great atmosphere! Staff can be a bit rude but easily ignored!
Lovely hostel, squeaky clean facilities, comfy sofas, working internet. Only the guy at the reception was a bit grumpy.
Nice chilled hostel, good open layout and good sized kitchen, bathrooms & common areas. Staff friendly and knew everyone by their first name. Only complaints is no lockers as bedroom doors are always open and also lack of sockets in the rooms. Would definitely recommend.
Very good location near to bus stop, beach and supermarket. Friendly staff and good, clean facilities. A social hostel with a nice communal area. Free wifi. Offers surfing and free rides up to the kangaroo sanctuary. Only downside is the doors to the rooms did not lock.
Best hostel we've stayed in up the east coast, definitely the cleanest, lovely staff, great food deals every night for dinner, $7 meals, wifi is brilliant super fast. Only thing it's missing is a pool. Would definitely stay again, great location :)
One of my favourite hostels on the east coast. A real family run place it's so relaxed I didn't want to leave! Really nice beds and bathrooms, hammocks everywhere and great kitchen which was cleaned every 3-4 hours. Outside eating courtyard area really good to hang out and meet people also a lovely lounge with a tv and dvd selection. Beach bonfire was organised one night which was a great night, short walk to supermarket and the beach. Couple who run this hostel can't do enough for you.
Such a chilled out hostel-we weren't even given keys to the rooms as they were never locked! A really lovely feel to the place. Shame there isn't a pool. the free wifi is great although the sofa covers could do with a wash-they stink! Otherwise a great place to stay. One male member of staff was rude and short with people but I'd been pre warned about him so just ignored his rudeness. Everyone else was lovely and helpful.
The hostel is never locked and the rooms very rarely, but you have to walk through the lobby to get to the rooms and they offer a safe to keep valuables in. They clean the kitchen and the living area in the middle of the day at the same time, and they kick people out for it which is a bit annoying, but everything is always very organized and clean. I wish there were some more private toilets and showers, and one night there was no hot water, but overall a very chill and fun atmosphere to be in.
Nice hostel, with nice common areas and good atmosphere. Lots of people all the time we were there. We didn't get much information about what to do in the area from the staff. Also we were advised not to go surfing with some guy that was offering surfing class in the hostel and instead go with the local surf school, and turned out the classes with the other guy were much better, so big negative point for them for bad mouthing the guy. They have a dinner meal deal for $7, it is very good!
Nice atmosphere! Good place to stay, good location
Our stay was ok. Hostel is near Greyhound stop and only 5 min walk to Agnes water beach. Harbour of 1770 is 7km away, and if you don't book your bike in time you have to walk all the way. Room doors were always open and no lockers in the room. you can leave valuables to reception. Also reception ladies were the best and very helpful! Hostel chef made 7dollar meals every night, recommend.
Loved my time here. Thought that Agnes wouldn't be anything special but it was awesome. Great place to start surfing. The hostel was dead chilled and had a really nice friendly atmosphere. Staff are helpful and the crepes are ridiculously good!! Good place for solo travellers
