Danhostel Copenhagen Downtown Reviews

I stayed here with 3 friends for 3 nights and we absolutely loved it! Great place, lovely decor, security boxes if you need them, great atmosphere and I loved the staff here- so so helpful. We're already making plans to go back in summer!

Hostel was good although the music appears to get very loud in the early morning. Despite having a room on the second floor I got woken up at around 3am when the music volume (pub on the ground floor) upped the volume. I certainly wouldn't want a room on the first floor! Only stayed one night (sat) but the employees seemed nice. The hostel could benefit by making the breakfast service (price, time etc) more easily observable.

Nice crew! Clean hostel, nice bar, almost in downtown Copenhaguen, great great breakfast! Maybe a little more showers would be needed on each floor

A Super Hostel! Check the direction before arriving, it's really centrally located but you have to follow the right street (or you can have a bus for free if you have a subway ticket) :) Very nice atmosphere and I really enjoyed the huge couch with pillows, very nice to spend some day here!

it was a nice stay in Danhostel. place was very clean and has a great kitchen and common room, staff was friendly, beds were comfortable. what else one can expect from a hostel? only thing is that 10 pm for check-in and 14 pm for check-out is not fair :d..

Cute hostel, cheap beer (for Denmark), awesome location. Would have been more awesome if there were lockers in the rooms, but you can't have everything!

The location is perfect indeed. It's close to the town hall, main shopping streets and the central station. However, if you wish a comfortable stay, this is not a hostel for you. This is more like a party hostel. Because of noisy and weird roommates, I had to change the room and it was even worse. There is a nice bar on the ground floor and the atmosphere is quiet nice but if you want to sleep well, NOWAY. plus they didn't have the lift, so I had to claim up to the 4th floor with my luggage.

Would defimnitely stay again. Great staff, cheaper prices on beer/drinks, etc.

I had a excellent experience in this Hostel. Staff was very nice, the guests the atmosfere and the bar, all theose things make me feel very good and wellcome.

Really great spot, friendly staff, great bar, excellent location - would really recommend it! Only downside (and it's tiny) is that breakfast might be a tad overpriced, but it's good and optional in any case!

What a hostel! It had everything, huge bed in the lobby! wifi everywhere! pool table, affordable drinks!! Go here! its cheap if youre traveling alone like me you make a ton of new friends! Enjoyed everything about this place and the staff cant do enough for you

bed number 7, room 312 (where I slept) is very noisy and can I disturb other people.

definitely one of the best hostels in the world. the atmosphere, the staff(such nice girls, Amelie, Louise and Teo, always there to help), and Copenhagen!!! ok, i got lost there 3 times a day and the free map doesn`t help much but it`s worthy anyway.

Great hostel. The staff where fantastic, the hostel was very clean and the rooms where spacious. Good security, buut no lockers for valuables. Common areas where great fun. Only trouble was there was no laundry.

Wifi does not work in the rooms and lockers in the room would be good, other wise it is a very good hostel. We enjoyed out stay and liked the group dinners

Great atmosphere and nice bar downstairs. I would have prefered to have towels included in the room rate.

Hostel was clean, safe and had a good atmosphere. Nice showers which is a big plus and fairly comfy beds. However breakfast was quite expensive for what it was. Otherwise great hostel and would stay again!

Staff at this hostel are very warm,friendly and welcoming.
