Really quirky rooms, great hostel, nice communal area, clean bathrooms, helpful staff. Cannot fault it. Would recommend :)
Interesting hostel rooms with different themes. Comfy, big beds in the dorms, each sectioned off by curtains for privacy. Delicious breakfast for €5.50. A bit out of the city centre but not a bad walk from Central Station. Very cool.
I had a great time. The staff is warm & cheerful with a special appreciation for Christina!

This hostel had amazing facilities. The beds were big, comfy, and curtained with individual plugs, lights, and built in shelves. I slept so well here. It's definitely a grown up type of hostel with classy decor and many other travelers in their mid-30s+. All but one staffer were incredibly nice and helpful. The breakfast was worth it - amazing spreads.
This is a realloy cool, chilled out place to stay. The big beds with curtains are absolutely perfect, and much appreciated after staying in hostels recently! This is the second time that I have been to this hostel and the staff are always really lovely and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay here again if in Cologne.
Setting up the standards of how a hostel should be. Die Wohngemeinschaft goes beyond of what any other hostel can offer, a bit of privacy in, an otherwise, shared bedroom. Every individual space has a courtain and inside there is your own lamp and electricity plug... also the bed is bigger than your average hostel. Perhaps the only disadvantage is that walking to the Hauptbahnhof can take around 20 minutes but nothing really serious.
This hostel is a complete gem! Really well set out and lovely deco, made me feel really comfortable. The only addition would be a kitchen - or at least a fridge - for guests.
I loved staying in the hostel. On my first day Tuesday ( first full day) I asked for help at the reception and I didn't find the girl very helpful. I was thankful to have Linda and Catherine (Kate) later on who were so helpful and friendly, truly lovely people. I only had one concern that my dorm room was locked at night time, in case of a fire this would not be good if we all had to search for our keys to get out. I'm not sure why it was locked at night?
Gorgeous rooms, very clean.. Their biggest plus is privacy.. You can shut everyone else out in your little pod and you have your own plug socket, shelf and light...Ladders are easy to climb onto top bunk, beds are huge and comfy (extra pillows available if needed).. Would have been nice if breakfast was included for the price, but is available at €5.50 and is lovely.. The showers are clean (and lockable) and I never had to queue (may have been lucky).. I am definitely staying here again
Lovely little room we got to stay in, themed in a "Gone with the Wind" style (loved it!). Good location, really cosy place and great value for money. Cheap breakfast if you want it too. Only negative was we weren't allowed to use the kitchen to cook our own food.
Incredible hostel. Fun, unique, great staff, awesome area, and really clean facilities.
A great place to stay! The room was very cozy, tidy! The staff is super friendly. Recommend!

Excellent, safe, friendly hostel with great decor and vibe. My only critique is that when travelling alone, the bar was exciting, loud and alive – and possibly because of this – is not the easiest place to meet someone new. Would recommend the place though.
Fantastic accommodation! Very clean and tidy, and in a good location close to metro station and many cafes, bars and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Free tea and coffee. Private bunks with curtains and personal plug socket and lamps. Not a party hotel, so if that's what you are looking for perhaps it's not the place for you, although there is a lively local bar joined on to hostel. Overall excellent place. Would definitely stay again if in Cologne.

Great hostel. Good location, clean and reliable facilities. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will stay again if ever in Cologne.
I've stayed a lot of hostel and this truly the best hostel I ever stayed. Warm welcomed by the receptionist and the bed is so comfortable. I got a lot of privacy when I needed. There are coffee machine and tea bags for free too. The only downside is they don't have a guest kitchen. But I highly recommended this place! Will definitely come back here again if I'm visiting Cologne.
a fantastic place to stay. Friendly, helpful staff. A great coffee machine and teas for free. A little further from the action, but a lively bar down stairs. Great rooms with wide, comfortable beds equipped with curtains. Fun themes in the rooms. It can be a bit quiet if you are looking to mingle with other guests, but you can still meet people there. Overall, a great place to stay. Highly recommended.
Probably the best hostel I have stayed in, ever, and I've stayed in a lot. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Free organic tea and coffee in the lounge, free internet & use of a laptop. No hidden charges for sheets etc. Great location near to town centre and u-bahn stop, shops and cafes close by. Great bar downstairs, with guest discount. Rooms beautiful and really big comfy beds with curtains for privacy.
