Dioskouros is in a fantastic and quiet area of Athens. You are just 5 minutes from the Partheon and across the street from the Temple of Zeus. The staff was very friendly and offered a number of reccomendations when it came to resturants and bars. I give it 5/5, and would strongly reccomend it to anyone traveling through Athens on a budget.

The rooms are spacious, with a nice balcony and tall ceilings. The breakfast was simple but good. Staff was very helpful. They took time explaining directions and traveling options. It's also a 10 minute walk from the acropolis!

I reallu enjoyed my stay here. Everything was very clean and it was in a great location. Easy walking distance to all sites. Some rooms are a bit older looking, but still were very clean. Our room for the second night was newly renovated and so it was extremely nice. Breakfast was fantastic. A polish lady, cooks and cleans there and does a wonderful job. Her cooking is fantastic and we really enjoyed the polish pancakes she made. Would definitely stay here again.

Compared to what we got for what we payed for everywhere else in Greece, this place was awful! Their directions make no sense, & we got in past midnight due to lousy directions from the port. The only good thing was that it is walking distance to the acropolis.

I think because I was the only person in the dorms at the moment, there wasn't much attention paid to the back bathroom. Several times in the 5 days that I stayed there there wasn't any toilet paper, that sort of thing. It didn't seem like it was actually being checked. All in all I had a really great stay though, and everyone was quite kind.

Perfect location! In the middle of all the best cites in Athens and easy to get to by car, 10++ for that. Staff very friendly, rooms nice and spacious. Breakfast leaves much to be desired (and very early too!) but that's not a big deal. Loveliest inner yeard so you can chill out without all the city noise, or outside people. The cleaner lady was sweet but could have been a touch more efficient - the toilet paper run out in shared bathrooms for almost an entire day. But everything else is superb!

Great location and staff. Delicious breakfast (French toast and fresh bread with jams, etc) included. Shower facilities weren't the greatest and the kitchen was a bit limited, but all in all a really good hostel option in Athens.

Dioskouros has perfect location, its right by the acropolis and cosy walking streets. Its close to buses, metros to go for example to the beach. Staff is very helpful, room sizes small, so you might even get a private room with dorm price..perfect place to stay in Athens

The location is great... right by plaka, monastraki, the metro, the airport bus and I could see the acroplis from my window. The breakfast was good, the staff was friendly and knowledgable. For the location and price and I will be back.

The hostel was great! The guys who worked there were easy-going, helpful and really friendly. The room itself was absolutely alright for the price. I can't really understand the other negative comments on the hostel. It's a simple budget hostel and not a hotel, that is clear. If you keep that in mind you'll be totally happy here! We liked it a lot and would come back!

Staff is very friendly. The room was big and spacious. The heating doesn't seem to work, but it was not a cold night, so it didn't bother us. The shower was cold, no hot water. But the value for money is good, and the location is amazing.
