Very nice hostel! The staff is really helpful and they provide you of any information. There are only one terminal for internet, but it's free, as same as the towels. The bar is very charm and tiny. I'll rec ommend this hostel!

This hostel oozes character, so if you're after all the mod-cons and a spartan room, you'll probs not like it here. I really enjoyed my stay, and loved the rooms decorated in themes. Super easy to get to with all the instructions on hostelworld. Wifi was great, reception staff spoke good English, and lockers in the room big enough for my bag. Breakfast is in the bar/restaurant and not free (but good). Only complaint, there was no power point in my room (that I could find), which was a bummer.

This is a party hostel, with a bar, restaurant and outdoor beer garden in the hostel. If you want to meet people, have a chat and a drink and a good time, then this is the place for you. Its also well designed in an art theme. I stayed in the Picasso room and there was cute paintings on the walls. Free wifi, free washing machine and dryer (dryer takes forever, dont bother). Only faults were the toilets needed cleaning more often and ran out of toilet paper, and the showers smelt a bit mouldy.

I loved my stay in Bratislava, the hostel had a really nice location, just one crossroads from the city center. Helpful staff, perfect restaurant with inexpensive food, awesome vegetarian burger, enjoyed the nice atmosphere. The rooms and toilets were clean. Would certainly recommend! I will come back for sure.

The staff were nice and helpful. The meal was great and the beer was cold. :) We\'ve enjoyed staying there. Thanx for all.

Staff could mark in map the main pubs and discos where to go out at night and insterest stuff to visit during day, free-tour in batislavia was one of the best in european capitals in my opinion. The bar of the hostel is very good.

Good location, about 20 minute walk from train station. If you do walk, make sure you cross over the footbridge, it is much easier. The rooms are clean, beds are good, showers and toilets are good but as usual with hostels, not enough of them. Staff are very helpful, the bar has good food and drink prices. 5-10 minute walk to restaurant and bars depending if you go left or right. Not the most happening place to visit but somewhere cheap to hang out.

Nice cozy hostel in very good location. The room was good but we couldn't even touch the wardrobe with fear it'd fall down on us as it was so unstable. There was no toilet paper in both toilets or handwash. Nice bar downstairs with amazing and cheap food.

This is the best hostel I have ever been to. The staff was going out after work and they did not hesistate and took us with them... but they are great also when they are working. Very heplful and really know the city. The hostel has a restaurant with traditional slovak dishes and also vegetarian food which is not so easy to find. The rooms are new renovated, cosy and clean. I seriously recommend this hostel.

Downtown Backpackers is a nice hostel whit a good atmosphere. It's easy to meet people in de bar downstairs or in the big common room. It's in the city center and not to far from the train station.

The staff on reception were always really friendly and spoke good English. There was a good atmosphere and the downstairs bar was always full of people. My only issue was that it was quite dark and dingy (and quite dirty) compared to the other hostels I've stayed in.

The hostel was nice but the shared amenities were too few and small things like blocked drains and no toilet paper made our stay less enjoyable. The staff however were extremely friendly and helpful.

Some of the staff were hopeless, like didn't even tell us where our room was, but the bar staff were fantastic! Our room was very cool and painted nicely, had a nice table you could sit around. Also a great bar and even better outdoor area out the back where you can hang out.
