We stayed just 1 night but it was pretty good . clean and quite rooms , clean showers. room and locker key for every1 in dorm .

This hostel is perfect. Nice rooms with big lockers, common room with piano, guest kitchen, superb location, in historical building in city center and walking distance from main train station. Also they have a good restaurant with garden, they serve lot types of breakfast. I will come back soon.

location is perfect, staff is super kind. Big common room, you can watch tv, play piano, cooking, etc. The room is clean, but the door is too old, which can not shield the voice in the corridor. The bar is very good, you can meet very beautiful girls there :-)

All-around great hostel. Comfortable bed, clean building, well-priced restaurant & bar, solid security supplemented with cameras, awesome staff (at least while i was there- hostel staff come and go quite frequently), located on the edge of the Old Town at 10-15 minutes from the train station, and of course, it's cheap. I'd definitely stay here again.

Excellent, friendly and helpfull staff, nice hostel very close to the center with democratic prices. The place to stay if you`re in Bratislava.

Really good place for stay. Hostel have very good location, close from the train station and in the heart of city center. Also they have very nice rooms decorated in famous artists, I stayed in Andy Warhol's room. But the best thing is a hostel restaurant, they serve excellent breakfast and also the other meals are very tasty and for fair prices. See you guys next month :)

The stuff is really very friendly

Liked: Comfortable beds, great restaurant and bar (wine for 60 cents!), you have to pay for breakfast but the portions are huge, it's delicious, and really good value for money. Location is great, close to the old town. Facilities are good (kitchen, internet, great showers). Disliked: The staff at the front desk are not very helpful (they don't recommend anything and don't know where a grocery store is!). FYI: Bus station directions are posted by the luggage room.

One of the best hostels where i stayed. Helpful staff and delicious traditional slovak meals.

We stayed two nights in a twin room, which had a balcony, which my smoker friend loved. The reception staff were very helpful, though the bar staff were not quite so friendly. It was lovely to have a bar to relax in, and it was well away from sleeping areas, so no noise or anything, and breakfast is good and exceptionally cheap!

I really enjoy my stay in the hostel. The staff was very nice, everything was clean and the atmosphere was unbeatable. I highly recommend it to everybody, also the prices are cheap in order to have something to eat qith the daily menu.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in! Unique, ideal location, clean, fun place with great prices. Has its own bar and restaurant which helps with the atmosphere and a good place to meet people. We were given a welcome drink as soon as we arrived - sweet as! You get a discount on food and drinks as hostel guests. Staff were great, made us feel welcome and gave us lots of advice on what to see and do in the city. Big common room where you can chat with other guests. Definitely recommended!

Such a nice hostel for it's price!

Hi I must say the hostel exceeded my expectations. Great hospitality, lovely girls, good beer! I'm having a year off traveling across the Europe and Bratislava, especially Downtown Backpackers Hostel was nice place to rest. Despite the cold weather, the atmosphere at the hostel was warm!! Thanx and hopefully see you this summer!

Very good hostel, even we just stay for one night. the staff is good, she gave us so many good suggetion about the trip and kept the very nice attitude. I love the piano in the lounge! you can feel the old time by furnitures in this old building.

I spend a wonderful time at the hostel. Staff was very helpful. They recommended cool bars and clubs to me. What I appreciated the most, especially next morning after heavy party was that the hostel had its own restaurant and bar - good coffee:) Great location - everything is very close. Bratislava is small city, but I love people there!! And I almost forgot, but I have to share this one - I slept in "Warhol's" room with Warhol's pictures painted all over the walls! I will definitely come back!

Location is good and so are the staff. The shower was clogged the first night however it was fixed quickly. There is a bar downstairs which is handy if you want to have a drink.

when we arrived, we were told that many facilities we were looking forward to - and because of which we chose this hostel - were actually not available and the information on hostels.com was incorrect, not updated (was fed by hostelworld.com, but did not copy all information from it). the impression of the hostel started to get worse at the very beginning where they refused to give us discount if i \"like\" hostel on FB (which was stated on both booking portals). nice atmosphere, but unsatisfied
