New, very clean, very helpful (service with a smile), spacious and location couldn't be any more central. Nice atmosphere, vibe and unbelievably relaxed chill out room !!

Great Hostel in Great location. I think the worst thing about it it's the breakfast but it's really cheap and clean.

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were not very friendly or helpful for a fairly expensive hostel.I felt they paid a lot of attention to the higher paying hotel clients and the hostel clients were a little forgotten about. In my 2 wks I had to ask 3 times for more toilet paper and to clean the trash bins. But what they lack, they make up with an amazing rooftop pool, bar & view, designer style rooms with cool lockers, a movie screen, free breakfast and 20 peso lunch & dinners.

This is beautiful looking hostel in a eat location. It just has no vibe, at least not while I was there. There are also no large lockers in the rooms to store your bags etc in.

A lot of money has been spent on this hostel. The facilities are great and the location excellent. The Internet was very slow though and it is not the sort of place you should go if you want to meet people as no one seems to hang out in the communal areas. Maybe this was just the timing of my booking I'm not sure.

Fantastic and modern facility. Two dining options in building as well as specialty shops (including an AWESOME cheese shop). I stayed New Years Eve and was dissapointed that the bar was not open. This was a poor decision that I found somewhat more than irritating. The buiding is historic but inner structure is new and hip. Great place to stay.... Comfortable beds and fluffy pillows (which is a rare find in Mexico).

Everything in the hostel is new, and catered to social interaction. But not a lot of people were staying at the hostel. Plus the area seemed to close up completely around 10PM. I may have visited in the off-season, which would explain these circumstances. Otherwise Downtown Bed is a great place to stay.
