About

Welcome to Apapacho home in Mexico City.

We're a brand new hostel located in the heart of the Historic Center in Mexico City in a building with bones more than 100 years old. We have an outdoor terrace with an amazing view of the city’s skyline that will leave you speechless. Fully equipped with a kitchen and different living areas like a coworking zone as well as a chill zone to rest up and watch TV. Apapacho offers dorms with soft beds pod-like, individual power outlets, curtains for privacy, and ample lockers. Breakfast isn't included; however, there's free morning coffee.
We have a quiet time of 11 pm, but you can carry on the night at the city's nightlife.

We are in a perfect location. The area is characterized by the diversity and variety of businesses, restaurants, bars, grocery stores, cafes, pharmacies and many craft stores.

We are:
- 1 block away from Mexico City bike station where you can rent a bike to better see the city
- 3 blocks from the zocalo and the main cathedral
- 5-minute walk from the most famous pedestrian street in Mexico City, Avenida Madero, where you will find a variety of shops
- 10-minute walk from the Palace of Fine Arts and the Alameda Central Park

Our number one goal is to create a welcoming atmosphere where people socialize and have a good time with everyone. We aim to be the home away from home for many travelers that stay with us. To do this, we organize day and night activities to get to know the area.

I think it is a great hostel. I would rate it an 11 if I were traveling just for fun or culture. However, I also work while traveling and the internet was often unreliable or completely unavailable in some areas. Because of that I had to spend extra money going to cafés and malls to get a decent connection. The rooms are very comfy with big lockers, and the common areas are very nice, especially the rooftop. The showers are a little uncomfortable because there are no hangers for the clothes.
