Great hostel wirh a really cood vibe. Marc and his staff had been great hosts. You'll always have a nice chat and everybody will help you out. Food ist great as well. So far it's in the Top10 list of all hostels I every stayed in.

Best place in town - you'd be crazy not to stay at Downtown. Perfect location, free pool access, great food for cheap and Siem Reap's friendliest hostel owner. Can't wait to see the new work, Mark. Thanks for a terrific stay.

Excellent hostel

Best value for money that have had so far on our trip. Food was good , especially the bacon cheeseburger. Everything was clean. You can use the pool and upstairs cinema. Staff and owner were really friendly and helpful. All in all really enjoyed our stay.

If you are going seam reap, definately stay here!! After travelling for 8 months this is the best place we have stayed in.

I booked for 3 nights but ended up staying a couple more. It is a great place to stay, good location, clean and very friendly. All staff members were really nice and knowledgeable. The network of tuk tuk drivers that Mark uses are also good. I do not have a bad word to say about this place- I felt very at home. The use of the nearby pool is also lovely. In one sentence to sum up, I has an awesome vibe- stay here.

The owner is a little abrupt in character, but that aside, the place is a good idea for people wanting to stay near the center of town for a decent price.

We found the owner of this hostel to be very condescending and rude. He was rude to many of the guests (including ourselves), and proceeded to talk harshly of other guests to us after they had walked away. He seemed to treat his staff rudely as well. Our air conditioning didn't work well at all in our room, and the bar area was very noisy at night. We wouldn't have minded if we weren't getting up at 4 am to catch the sunrise at Angkor Wat. One can surely find a better hostel in Siem Reap!

Well located, a quick walk to food and drink. Great price for the room. Staff were nice, and they have relationships with nice tuk tuk drivers. Free bus station pickup was also great, as we could avoid the tuk tuk cartel.

The owner Mark was very helpful in organising my stay in Siem Reap.

Good location and fun to stay. Room was a descent size for the four of us, but the A/C and bathrooms were subpar. The power went out at one point (it happens I know), but the room became an inferno almost immediately. Still, it is easy walk to pub street and other nearby locations. Staff was friendly setting us up with their driver friends.

our 3 day stent turned into a week long stay. Mark is one of the warmest and most helpful people i've met in Cambodia (even put up against the locals). Nothing was to big a problem. Great rates on the rooms & beer, really friendly staff. NO pushy sales pitches. Great food menu. Amazing location. Clean rooms. EVERY box ticked. i would pay a lot more for the same pleasure. Mark: Congrats on such a wonderful place & u must get the rooftop movie nights up and running. Sam.

We were very lucky to have found this place. The rooms are spacious and well maintained, the staff are knowledgeable and helpful, and the amenities are great. Mark, the owner, went out of his way to help organize our activities, from scheduling guides and drivers to booking our onward travel. He knows the area extremely well and was always available for assistance and advice. Have stayed at this hostel on various occassions, and can only praise them for their hard work. The staff are very engaged, and extremely friendly- really went out of their way to ensure all are happy. A great location, and an absolutely spotlessless place to stay. Enjoy!
