Dreamcatcher Hostel is a newly renovated 1920's heritage building centrally located in the outdoor paradise of Golden, B.C.
We have 30 beds in private, family and dorm rooms, all en-suite. All linens and towels are included - the beds are comfy and warm with feather duvets and proper mattresses.
Our main floor is a fantastic open space with large kitchen and dining area, comfy sofas round a welcoming rock fireplace, games area, library, computer space and more!
We are not a 'party hostel', more a relaxing base for adventurers and outdoor enthusiasts.
We have plenty of storage for your bikes, skis, boards, canoes and a large car park. Our warming, drying boot room is popular with skiers & boarders.
Golden is a small town with a laid back charm and in a great location, with three mountain ranges, rivers, lakes and creeks, skiing, mountain biking, hiking, paragliding, rafting, kayaking and countless other activities.
The perfect location for your winter holiday - Canada's highest concentration of world-class ski resorts can be day-tripped from Golden. Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is only 15 min. from downtown, and 4 other resorts are within a 2 hour drive: Lake Louise, Sunshine, Revelstoke and Panorama. Ski shuttle from the door!

I don't usually give 100 percent ratings to anything really, but the Dreamcatcher is hands down the best. The very VERY best. Ok, you get it. Here's why: It has a full kitchen with everything you could possibly need from all sizes of pots to garlic presses to communal things like cooking Oil and butter, etc.. The building itself is beautiful and incredibly cozy with a stocked jukebox and plenty of books to read around the fire. And the staff are incredible in every regard. Go there.
