Really enjoyed our short stay here. The location was excellent and we felt right at home when we got there. We were also given some great recommendations by staff and liked the relaxed atmosphere.
I had a great time at the Eastern Comfort Hostelboat Berin. I really loved the place: stylish&funny. The blonde lady at reception is the best receptionist ever: nice, very very helpful, smiling all the time. Superb location with great view, fantastic music and perfect mojitos :)

Excellent position, very nice people at the reception. If you are searching for a quiet hostel is not for you. Honestly the toilette could be cleaner but perfection is not from this world.
Easy to find getting there, struggled to get into the centre during our stay. Staff lovely and more than helpful. Location on the river is nice!
The room is exactly like you'd expect on a boat. The room was clean but small and the the top bunk was tiny. The shower was very small and the floor got soaked whenever you had a shower, and there was no drain system so the floor was always wet. Otherwise the staff were very friendly and helpful and the location is great if you want to go to clubs such as water gate.
The staff were really friendly, especially Kirsten who constantly went out of her way to help us and make us feel welcome. I would recommend this hostel as it is also in a great area in Kreuzburg. Can't wait to come back!
Great stay, friendly staff.

Reception staff were excellent, particularly the French lady, however the bar staff were actually very rude. Aside from the bar staff, it was an all-round fantastic choice.
Really great location - next to 3 big clubs near East side gallery, all walking distance. A variety of restaurants nearby open til late. Metro 5 minute walk away for access to other sites around city. Bathroom facilities weren't the best, but fine for what we needed in Berlin for a few days on our travels. Would definitely recommend, a brill opportunity to stay on a boat!
Our room was very clean and nice and the location was great just next to Berlin Wall East Side Gallery and most of the clubs were also in the area. Staff was very friendly and nice.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and the bar upstairs was a great plus. Unfortunately we stayed during a hot spell in berlin and the rooms were stuffy as there were no fans.
It was a really wicked place to stay, right in the center of Berlin but not to loud. Was really hot but were provided with a fan. Lovely bar, was wicked watching the sun set over the river whilst enjoying a beer. Would recommend to anyone and will defiantly be coming back!
It's such a cool hostel - overlooking the Berlin Wall and floating on the Spree River! The dorm is small but the beds are very comfortable. The shower is spot on. And apparently if you go in the gentlemen's bathroom the tape of chirruping crickets automatically starts playing so you feel like a hunter in the jungle. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It's also very close to the cool area with millions of bars, cafes, restaurants and graffiti.
The best hostel I have ever stayed in! The fact that it's a boat is great, I would definitely recommend this to anyone! Also, security was brilliant, there was a code to get on the boat, and keys for each room, unlike some hostels that just have key cards that work for every room
Friendly and helpful staff, lovely atmosphere, we felt safe there and it really made our week in Berlin amazing
The only real issue was location, as to walk into the centre of Berlin took almost an hour. Although there's a train station right next to the boat, which for €7.80, you can buy an all day ticket taking you all over Berlin. Facilities as expected were quite basic, but not the worst I've experienced!
Nice experiment! But dorm was pretty tiny for five people.
The private suit was really big and comptfy. The hostess was the best, super friendly and helpful. She even spoke Spanish wich was a big plus. The boat is right next to the wall and really close to a train station
Good location right behind the East Side Gallery, great for going out around Kreuzburg but a little further from the centre. We couldn't get wifi in our room, which was a real hassle. We didn't have breakfast as thought it was a bit expensive. In dorm rooms, you have to pay separately for bed linen, it isn't included. I'd stay here again.
It's really cool to be able to say that you've stayed on a boat in Berlin. Each evening there's a really nice sunset that you can enjoy by the bar on the deck, which was a huge plus, maybe the best part! The staff were very friendly when engaged. However, it was sometimes hard to tell who had just boarded the boat to visit the bar and who was actually staying there. It would have been a little difficult to meet people as a solo traveler. Tight rooms. Good location. I would probably stay again.
