I had a great time here. The staff are amazing. Yeah yeah, staying on a boat in the middle of Kreauzberg sure is nice, but for me the friendly staff makes this hostel worth a visit. Will come back for sure.

Excellent stay on the western boat. Nice staff, good and clean cabin and pretty quiet for a good night sleep.

What more could you want than a hostel on a boat with its own bar in the heart of berlin? Only one shower and the toilet was shared with the bar which left us a little uncomfortable at the thought of brushing our teeth as people who were just aboard for drinks came to use the facilities but the slight reduction in space is to be expected on a boat and is certainly worth it.

Everything about this hostel is excellent! The boat itself is super charming, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the lounge is cozy, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect .. All together an excellent choice for a fantastic stay in Berlin.

Very simple rooms, but also very clean. Floating lounge was an enjoyable place to start each night. Location was excellent. But above all it was the staff that made our stay here memorable. They were all so obviously in love with Berlin, and enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge. Every recommendation they made was spot on, from restaurants to bars to clubs.

We got much more better room that we actually paid for, so it was even more awesome. Whole hostel totally rocks,staff is great, location is very nice. Loved it :)

I have wanted to stay on this boat ever since I saw it for the first time and I had an amazing night! Thank you! The only slightly irritating thing was the music playing all day and night in the hallways.

I've stayed at a few different places in Berlin now and Eastern Comfort has consistently been the best. Their staff is very knowledgeable about the area and are more than happy to help you plan something fun to do. The rooms are cozy and the beds are comfortable. I would recommend this hostel to anyone going to Berlin, whether you are on a budget or not.
