The staff was awesome! Always friendly. Even when my friends came by and I wasn't in the guys and girls at the hostel would welcome them in and hangout with them until I returned. Great place!

Great atmosphere, as a hostelboat is def something very special and different from usual hostels. Good value for the money, moreover hostel is located in an area surrounded by bars, cafes and restaurants with fairly cheap prices. Relatively short distances to sites, and helpful "where-to-go" recommendations by multilingual staff.

It would be great to have the possibility to choose which boat (Eastern or Western) and which view (Spree Side or Wall Side) during the booking.

We had a great time staying at the Eastern Comfort Hostelboat. The staff was extremely accommodating and welcoming. We had an early flight out of Berlin and appreciated that the staff was willing to come in early to allow us to check out in the early morning hours. I will strongly consider staying here again if I ever make it back to Berlin!

had a lovely 3 night stay here- staff very friendly and will go out of their way to help you. Bathroom was a bit damp- but you're on a boat after all! If you're a clean-freak maybe not best choice. It's cool waking up and seeing the water which is at eye-level to you! free tea and coffee 24-7 is good :)

The staff that made our check in is the best staff in the world! She is very friendly in a natural way. She explaned very well about berlin too. Try to put heat in the bathroom, it's too cold. Put more options to the breakfast. Nobody offered us a free trip of boat (I just in hostelworld about that).

That was so great!! A very good place, and the restaurants near were fantastic!!!

The staff was super friendly and helpful and the room was nice, a bit small but you get what you pay for. The location was not too far from the center of Berlin and it was very easy to get to things, especially since its right behind the Berlin wall's east side gallery. My only complaint was the cleanliness, the shower head kept falling and you had to hold it up and after a day the bathroom was a mess.
