These were excellent facilities overlooking the Dead Sea with excellent security, good meals, friendly and helpful staff, etc. Our only problem did NOT have to do with the hostel itself, though they could have warned us. We used the public beach on a cool and windy day. To get into the water we had to climb over a "wall" of small boulders covered with salt crystals, while waves threw us this way and that. Of the four of us, we all got cut up somewhat, and 2 quite a bit.

It looks you are in a military camp. The treatment of the personel (all of the 5/6 I meet) very cold, distant and unfriendly...it looks as if somebody forced them to work there agains their will. Best thing is the wild goats that go inside the instalation in the morning, and the fact that it is cheap and well situated

A very good, very clean hostel just near the entrance to the Ein Gedi nature reserve, for which you get a discount when picking the hostel as your accommodation. Spacious rooms, Dead Sea view balconies, effective AC and a tasty dinner in the evening. The only drawback is that they don't provide any beverages - to buy a bottle of water or a can of beer you need to walk to the gas station at the public beach.

Great location for the dead sea. There is a free public beach about 5 mins drive or 10 mins walk away. Good clean rooms. Great breakfast. There is no kitchen and dinner is overpriced. Get there on time as they only have an hour for eating between 7 and 8pm.
