El Gualicho Hostel - HI Reviews

Probably the cleanest hostel I have ever been to and the best hostel kitchen I have seen so far.

What we didn't like was the constant presence of local people in the hostel who use to hang out in the garden. Even though is it written (in block letters) beside the reception desk that after Midnight the rest of the guests should be respected this guys spent the evening and a big part of the night outside drinking&laughing so that we couldn't sleep at all. The receptionist was with them as well so there was no way to stop them. This has partly ruined our next day trip to the Peninsula Valdes.

Good Hostel - but a lot of kitchen equipment is missing! just 1 knife!!

Great hostel. Very big so a lot of room for all the guests. Huge kitchen with great facilities. I also loved the hammocks and the garden. The staff were really helpful and the onsite travel agency is a great help. Only problem was that the internet was unreliable and I had to go to an internet cafe to sort out my onward travel etc. but this is only a tiny problem and wouldn't prevent me from returning. I would definitely recommend this hostel to any friends staying in Puerto Madryn.
