When we walked in to the room it was dead bug in the corner. Breakfast is typical for Argentina.

The dorm rooms are really small and feel over-crowded and there are sod all tolilet and shower facilities. Don't stay here if you can avoid it.

A little nice hostel very close to the bus station. The 6 bed dorm was very tiny though and the bathroom was dirty. A good value for your money if you are only staying a couple of nights.

Great location in terms of access to bus station and the many shops of Puerto Iguacu. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Great value as a way point to the majestic Argentine side of the Falls.

Nice quiet hostel, the reception is the living of the owners. But in the back you´ll find the place for the travelers with well equiped kitchen, common area and multiple rooms. Very basic, but it´s got everything you need!

Its an okey hostel for the money you pay. Dorms are a bit small and there are no lockers inside the room which with six people and backpacks in a little room makes it a little messy. There are small lockers but not enough for everybody, so we didnt had a locker the first nights. The pool is very small but the garden is nice. Close to the busstation.

The dorm was really small, we were 6 and we hardly had space to put our backpacks there! There was only 2 showers for the whole hostel and 1 table for 8 people for the breakfast. So during the rush, you can not sit!! The staff was not always very nice.

I pretty much enjoyed my stay at El Guembe. It's proximity to downtown and the bus station were its greatest assets. It's clean and pretty relaxed. The staff mostly didn't speak English, so apart from a few challenges we muddled our way through. The grounds are nice and if you like swimming the pool looks good. On the whole it was an average hostel.

Very close to bus terminal, friendly staff. Good breakfast (with kind of home made cake!). I would stay there again.

Staff was really nice, room was cozy, nice breakfast, we would have really enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, we forgot our e-book reader below the cushion in our bed, which could for some reason never be retrieved although we realized it an hour later and talked with all the people there. That was very disappointing.

This was a nice enough hostel to stay in with a good location although i didn't feel like my things were totally safe. The dorm rooms cannot be locked and there are only small lockers in the communal area so everyone can see what you're locking up and it seems relatively easy to stroll into the hostel. Apart from that, the beds were comfy, decent showers and enough toilets. The kitchen was also well stocked and staff were friendly.

Very friendly manager, the hostel is in an ideal location and has a nice pool. While we were staying at the hostel we were accused, by staff, of stealing food. Very unprofessional and left us with a very sour taste from the hostel.

El Guembe was a great little hostel in Iguazu. It is only a few blocks up from the bus station, and it's about a five minute walk to the town. Very centrally located. My room was cute and colorful and had a lovely jungly view from the bathroom window. The wifi works really well, I was able to use skype from my room with no disconnection problems. Staff was nice and friendly, but did not speak English. The grounds are pretty–love the hammocks! I liked it here and felt very comfortable.

It's feeling like a house, quickly changing in hostel. Not enought bathroom and very durty. The room too, need to be cleaning more (a old use codom was into the shelve), durty sheed. And for the kitchen: no Equipment, only one fridge (durty). For the security, every people can enter as he want and a pickpoket try to still my bag into the backpacker. And strickly no smile from the staff. Conclusion: it's was a very bad feeling!

One night in the hostel was ok, but we did not enjoy it. We slept in a dormitory for 5 people and it was too small for all the people and backpacks. It smelled really bad, but the air condition worked (at least). The breakfast was okay and there were just 2 bathrooms in the whole hostel. We did not feel comfortable so we decided to change the hostel for the last night, there we paid 10 Pesos more but got a much better service. So in relation to our second hostel I would not recommend this one.
