Great staff and cute little refugio! in the middle of nowhere near the base of the volcano! great for tranquility but bad if you actually want to spend time in puerto varas! Food was great! rooms were nice but our bathroom had not been cleaned when we got there. hair and used shampoo bottles were still in the shower. owner was great and very helpful!!

This was a nice enough hostel in a good location close to the lake and close to Parque Vicente Perez Rosales, although non-descript but nothing special. The owner speaks enough English to help you out when he is around. He is often not around though and the hostel seemed to be run mostly by the owner's son who is around 12 years old, which did not feel right.
