Very clean and the room was quite. The bar had a good atmosphere and the staff were friendly. Great location just around the corner from the hauptbahnhof

Pretty close to city center and a giant shopping street, however it's proximity right next to the train station is both good and bad. Some shady people but very easy to get to when you arrive. Right next to two other major hostels though so there always people and you feel generally safe. An excellent bar with cheap drinks and a good place to meet up. Bartenders are very nice and service is quick. Showers take a bit to get warm and you have to keep pushing a button to keep the water going.

Staff were amazing. We arrived to early to check in but the lady at the desk gave us great advice and directions for things to do b4 check in. Then when we came back the room that we were given didnt have 2 free beds. So the lady gave us a free drink at the bar each and ended up giving us free upgrade from a 5 bed dorm to a 2 bed private room. Awesome staff and city.

Great location 3 minutes from the central station and a 10 minutes walk from the old town. Clean facilities with a hotel feel to it. Overall a comfortable stay with nothing t complain about.

Overall a very pleasant stay. The staff were very helpful in suggesting things to see and how to get to what you wanted to visit. The map that the hostel hands out was also awesome. It's their own special map that had lots of suggestions already listed with descriptions of museums, hours and prices! However, every day I was there my key card stopped opening the doors so I had to get it re-magnetized which was a bit annoying...

Needs a kitchen and needs to drop the price of breakfast! The breakfast is like any other continental breakfast which is often free at other hostels for the same thing. Location was convenient and the hostel is easy to find.

I overall enjoyed my stay. I would suggest however to the hotel staff that people are gouped in rooms according to their age. I shared my last two nights with two old men and I didnt feel quite comfortable with it.

EYH is in a somewhat dodgy area near the train station, but it is very close to the Old City by either walking or tram. Staff was helpful in getting one acclimated to the hostel and the city. The bar was nice and breakfast was all you can eat for less than 5 euro, and they did not seem to be too bugged by me taking stuff to go. Room was nice and clean, big, curtains on the beds, good lockers, but opened to a patio that got noisy. Room wasn't en suite, wc a floor down. Overall, a good experience.

Their service & facility was good enough, but I'd be grateful if they smiled much more.

I have stayed in four different hostels in Munich and I found that to be the one that I preferred. Free wifi, great staff, a good bar with a very extended happy hour, everyone has their own wall socket to charge their phone etc. There were a lot of good things about this hostel. I really recommend it.

The location is great, a 2 min walk from the Hauptbahnhof, and 10-15 min walk from downtown (Munich is a fairly small city, and walkable without using public transit). The staff are really helpful. The wifi was spotty but it got better after the first day. Great prices for happy hour. I stayed in a 3-person dorm and the room itself has a sink, mirror and wall plugs. You only need the communal washrooms for using the toilet and shower. The showers are in private individual rooms.

This is not a hostel in the normal; sense, but a large bar with dorm rooms attached. It does not have a kitchen to store and prepare food, nor a common room except for the said bar. However it is ideally located near the main train station and U-bahn network. It is spotlessly clean, and staff are polite and helpful. There are not enough toilets and showers. They also have a strange policy of having an age limit for some dorm rooms and not for others, which is not mentioned on their web site.

The hostel was excellent.. We stayed in the mixed gender 12 person dorm and it was perfectly fine. There was great security, everything was clean, and it was easy to either have a chill night and head to bed early or go to the bar at the hostel where they would sometimes have live music. The staff is hilarious and friendly as well.

Pretty much excellent. Only problem was the very poor air quality in the room which made the actual sleeping part kind of a pain.
