Hostels have changed.. They've gotten nicer, cleaner and more all encompassing. This hostel looks old and smells old. It's one of those hostels where you don't want to walk around your room barefooted. To me a hostel is a great place to meet other travelers but the bar in this hostel attracted many outsiders so it was very crowded at night. Overall, I think Euro Youth needs a reboot.. Fortunately for them, Munich is an expensive city and their beds are cheap. Perhaps I'm too old for this place:)

Everything was good except the shower. It's too high for using it. I think It's better can be pull out the shower. Also the water pressure is too low.

Absolutely fantastic location, 3 hours of happy hour per night at 2 euros per beer, helpful staff. Proper power shower in the morning. Quite a grand old building but updated throughout.

Very nice staff, facilities were clean and well maintained despite it being a little run down. Loved the open atmosphere, it made it easy to make friends. Worth the money.:)

We had a great stay at the Euro Youth Hostel in Munich! The staff was friendly and very helpful, all the facilities perfectly clean, the location is great- only a few meters to the main train station and just a short walk to the city center- and the buffet breakfast for 4,50€ is definitely worth it's price. Only the coffee could have been a little stronger ;)

The hostel is amazing and everything worked really well there. If you are travelling alone, the bar at the hostel is the best place to meet nice people. Big and with good beer, it was really good spending time there.

Good location. Nice bar on the lobby. The only problem was the shower that turned off every 30s and should be restarted.

Great big room, great staff, a little noisy and our sensor light in the bathroom turned on and off at will. A bit annoying trying to sleep or while having a shower. Close to the main train station and a great breakfast!

We LOVED this hostel. Best in Munich! The staff is really friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is relaxed and we met tons of interesting people. Some friends stayed in another hostel and said theirs was not nearly as great as Euro Youth Hotel. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and perfect for what we needed. We paid a couple of euros for a lock to lock our things under our bunk. So you might want to bring your own lock. The staff will help you find where you are going to

Staff were not at all knowledgable about the area but were friendly. The bar was a pretty good atmosphere to meet new people as it was busy, without being too busy.

It´s a great hostel, it is near the main station and there´s always something to do, the only thing I was little dissapointed was the cleaning I was staying in a 12 mix dorm and the cleaning there was not good, besides that everything was perfect, the staff, the dorms, the people, the common area it is big and there is internet for free in the whole hostel. The beds have a little lamp and curtains for a little privacy.

Nice hostel with good bar in the evening and friendly staff. Squeaky beds and the room was a bit hot and stuffy as was the bathroom down stairs - bit like a sauna! A nice hostel though - I would stay here again. Thanks!

Staying at Euro Youth Hostel was comfortable and pleasant. Nice staff, good bar, reasonably big and comfortable room. The only flaw was that we needed to take and return plates on time till breakfast time, so if you like to cook meal for yourself, take your dishes with you) other conditions were really great. Thank's
