We came to Munich during the last week of Oktober Fest so we paid A LOT for a 4 bed mixed dorm room. Had we known (through fault of our own) that prices for accommodation in Munich would be through the roof we would have planned our travels differently so we weren't caught up in Oktober Fest season. However in saying this, we enjoyed our stay. Good rooms and clean toilet/shower facilities. Staff were lovely, very helpful and tolerant. Thank you :)

Really great location for Oktoberfest! Awesome bar inside the hostel and drinks for really cheap!
Fantastic staff, spacious rooms, and very very clean! The bunk beds were a bit squeaky, but overall fantastic!
Excellent location, across the street from Hbf, 10 min walk to heart of city center. Great, cheap bar on main floor with an excellent and positive atmosphere. Very easy to meet people or relax. Staff was friendly and very helpful with tour ideas and city info. Clean rooms and bathrooms, very secure and comfortable rooms. Excellent wifi as well. Absolutely recommended and will stay at again!
The location is very central, but being right next to the main train station the neighborhood is very sketchy. I had a man grab my arm and try to talk me into getting in his car in front of the hostel when coming back late at night. Luckily he let go as soon as I pointed to a group of guys in front of the hostel and said I was with them. I can't say much else about the hostel since I did not spend much time there. For the record, I did not report the incident to hostel staff.
I understand that oktoberfest rises the price of every hostel in Munich, but I would expect much more for paying 65 euros per night in a dorm, irrespective of the season. Uncomfortable and noisy beds, no individual plugs, no kitchen and a compulsory breakfast that you pay (4.5 euros) even if you didn't choose it. The only common area is a bar, far from the calm chill out areas of other hostels where you can just sit and make friends.
Only stayed one night, but staff were friendly, place was clean and organised. Excellent breakfast. Good hostel, i reccommend :)
Enjoyed my stay but this place could be SO much better: 1) turn the heating in the dorms down and improve the ventillation... that awful smell is 12 guests who've consumed nothing but beer and sausage before being asked to lie in a sauna for 8 hours. 2) get rid of the double bunks... even the staff were embarrassed to tell us where we were sleeping. In a dorm situation they are just awkward. 3) If you have a wrist band policy enforce it... non-paying guest in our room evicted by us.
I stayed in a 12pp mixed dorm during octoberfest, so not the freshest time to share a dorm with snorring men. Each bed has its own powerpoint, shelf and locker large enough to fit your bag. Just need a medium sized lock which is bigger than the average zipper lock. The communal showers have no where inside to hang or put your clothes and no shelf to put your soap which is inconvenient and difficult. The staff were very helpful and there was secure luggage storage.
We stayed here during Oktoberfest and it's hard to rate value for money as everywhere is so expensive. Overall the place was cheap and cheerful. We had a private twin room which was serviced each day and the surrounding areas were always kept very clean. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Good laundry facilities however disappointing that there was no kitchen to use. Breakfast include in price was your standard breakfast in Europe so fine, even with scrambled eggs - bonus!
This is a very safe and secure hostel located close to the main train station. It has a good bar and lounge area and with a free breakfast every morning. Enjoy your stay.
Great place to stay for Oktoberfest, expensive, but everywhere is at this time. The staff are great, the breakfast is awesome, and the bar is pretty cool.
Great hostel. I was here for Oktoberfest so it was a little hectic but the staff did a great job to welcome me. Clean rooms and washrooms, and location was within walking distance to main attractions. I would definitely stay here again!
Really enjoyed my stay with you guys. The bar is really cool and has a great atmosphere. The rooms and shared facilities are clean. Another detail which may seem small but I really appreciated was that the beds are ready made - which can't be said for all hostels. When you're coming back in the wee hours of the morning, especially during Oktoberfest, the last thing you want to think about is making a bed in the dark. Anyway, thanks for a great experience guys!

Very good location, being super close to the main train station. The staff were friendly and helpful. The dormitories were reasonable in size and the beds were comfortable with power sources well placed. I had warm and well pressurized showers. It was overall a great place to stay.
Great place to stay during oktoberfest. This is right next to wombats and jaegers. This one is a little more relaxed and laid back than wombats and jaegers.
When I arrived to my bed the first night there were TWO empty comdons package IN my bed. It was really disgusting. Womens restroom were ALWAYS dirty mainly where you wash your teeth, I almost threw up.
Very well located for Oktoberfest. Rooms were clean but cramped. You had to go down a floor to use bathrooms/showers which was inconvenient. Staff were lovely!! Very helpful :) bar was great for meeting people but could also get very loud when you are trying to sleep. Would stay again
