This is a average hostel. The 5 dorms rooms are ok and very large, but you do not have bathroom in the room and there is just a few bathrooms in the level. You do not have a Kitchen or a free computer in the hostel. That is bad...

We had 3 nights there over Xmas and enjoyed the hostel. The staff were great and we had Xmas lunch with a group of staff and guests which was excellent. Location is excellent, less than 5 minutes from train to hostel. The bar has a great happy hour(s) too.

Our twin room was very good, it was spacious enough for two people. Everything else was fine. The staff was great, the breakfast was good, the bar was excellent, except that the water pressure in the bathroom (4th floor) was terrible and the water did not drain properly! I had to go down to the basement just to have a shower.

Shower stalls were not that good. There were no doors or locks to the shower. Only like 2 showers for males on the floor (for what I know of). I found it not helpful, that there wasn't any plugs or outlets near the beds to charge your phone or cameras. I had to go downstairs in the lobby/eating area, to charge my things. They did have like 2 outlets in the room, but when you're sharing with with 4 other people, it's hard to get your turn.

Didn't realise quite how close it was to the train station! Room was clean and staff were friendly. The main negative was that for the lockers you had to bring your own padlock or purchase one from reception. Was annoying the fact that you needed your key for everything, but at least it meant that security was good.

My room was huge and really nice. It was a bit noisy but that was to be expected. I'd recommend it.

Very close to train station, about a 15 or 20 min walk to downtown. Very clean bathrooms and showers even though it's a big hostel with lots of guests. All beds in the 12 person dorm have a personal shelf, reading light, electric outlet, and BIG locker--perfect.

Had an absolute blast here! Had easily one of the most memorable nights at the bar - happy hour there is great. Staff were really helpful and the breakfast, while not included, was great value and variety. Only slight complaint would be the shower - it was more of a wet room, so the whole bathroom floor was usually damp - but the en suite was only between 4, so it wasn't a big issue. No kitchen due to city regulations, but late night cheap toasties and beer made up for it. Definitely recommend!

Excellent hostel - great location, very clean, great prices. The bar is so good, and also cheap. Free mulled wine on arrival. Helpful staff.

I found the Euro Youth Hostel a very nice place to stay in Munich. The location near the central train station is very convenient for transportation around and from Munich, and within walking distance from the city center. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom facilities were new and well-maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the happy hour at the bar was great. My friend and I enjoyed staying here a lot!

Well, it conjugates the best things in a hotel with the best things in a hostel! Big, comfortable and clean rooms and a big bar with a nice vibe, everybody having a good time. It feels a bit unpersonal sometimes - well, but we cant have everything. The only problem is that they should create a commom area that is not together with the bar. Sometimes you just want to chill and talk to someone, but it's hard because there's too much noise and people partying. 99% recomended!
