after 6 weeks travelling in North India, we were searching for a place to relax, enjoy the sun and the sea. and the evershine was a great surprise, best place we found in the country, real guest-house! we booked for one week, and stayed 5 more days! rooms are clean,WI-FI, location excellent (closed to the beach, supermarket, flea market, restaurant, clubs...) and the most important staff REALLY friendly and helpfull. higthly recommanded

Great place for hanging out with fellow travellers, only a 5 minute walk to Anjuna beach, I felt very comfortable at the hostel and Sebastiana is the most helpful hostess and makes your experience of Goa all the better.

I wasn't sure what to expect on my first trip to India but I couldn't have asked for a better first place to stay than Evershine. Sebastiana is wonderful. Evershine was consistently busy but always very laid back and the place had a regular group of really cool people staying there. If I'm ever back in Anjuna, I'll be staying at Evershine for sure.

I stayed at evershine for 2 weeks and was very well looked after by Sebastiana and her family. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and about 10 minutes walk from the beach. I looked at some places on the beach which were cheaper but they were no where near as nice. I also recommend the Blue Tao and Sea Paradise restaurants for safe and really delicious food.

I had 5 amazing days here meeting amazing people. There was a great atmosphere, everyone was friendly and Sebastiana was fantastic. I got the superior single with ensuite for a ridiculously low amount and it was very comfortable. There's fast wifi and a scooter hire service at the hostel which is very helpful. Only downside is that they could be a bit more organised with double booking. If you have booked you will definitely get a room but it may not be the one you asked for, at least for 1 nigh

Good location and good value for your money. Just remember to ask for extra towels and watch out for giant cockroaches roaming the rooms. Friendly staff, good laundry service and friendly prices.

Owner Comment (Show)
It is Clearly mentioned in the Hostelworld Site that Towels are charged extra, yet we provide them to you complimentary but there is a daily cost that goes into it when you ask towels on a daily basis, and for the Tariff you pay it does not work into our budget, these kind of services are provided only in Hotels mostly whose Tariff is twice of ours, so the next time I suggest you read the entire description to avoid misunderstandings

The lady who runs this place is extremely sweet, especially if you are sick, she will take care of you like she's your mother. I owe her big time. This is walking distance to food and the beach. She rents scooters very cheap. The accommodations are clean and straightforward. Enjoy!

This was such a wonderful hostel! If you are a solo traveller then this is a great place to meet other people. There is a large terrace outside where everyone hangs out and also the rooms are very cheap. The owner Sabastiana is a very kind woman and she will try to help you out with everything! The only negative thing I can come up with is that there is only 1 bathroom, but for that price what do you expect.

The atmosfere was great at this hostel. If you're travelling by yourself and want to meet other people you should go to Evershine guesthouse. Sebastiana can help you with a lot, from renting scooters to day trips to a nice cold bottle of water :). I would definitely book with Evershine again if i were to go to Goa again! Thanks for the great time Sebastiana!!

Sebastiana was extremely helpful and reliable. She was very helpful to get a bike on rent at a reasonable price of Rs.150 per day and also organized a car for my travel back. The price for the stay was reasonable.

A wonderful vibe, tucked away in Anjuna--much more peaceful than Baga or Calangute beaches. Don't miss it!
